Bleed It Out is the second single from album Minutes to Midnight. It placed #2 on the US Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks, being the first single since Pts.Of.Athrty to not place #1. The single also peaked at #29 on the UK Singles Chart.

Bleed It Out's video was directed by DJ Joseph Hahn and features the band performing on a small bar stage, as a large scale violent fight unfolds around them in reverse. To achieve this effect the band used a mix of green screen and holograms, which gave the video its unique look and feel.

The video was named MuchMusic's #1 Rock video of 2007 and also took home the award for Best International Video - Group at the MuchMusic Video Awards a year later.
