It is. Romaji is lame only for those studying Japanese. But for readability's sake, Romaji (especially Hepburn) is quite useful.

Yes, it's technically correct. This is what it looks like when you take what's being said and write it with Roman letters (i.e. the letters we use).

You typically don't write out Japanese that way though. You write it using Japanese symbols, which is what Jesse has been posting.
