The reason why LP were made fun of and Hybrid Theory was the most returned CD of 2001 is because they were cheesy. Justin Bieber fans don't think he's cheesy either.
I did not know the first fact and JB's fans are right tho. I may hat his music but his music is not cheesy.
Fav: And One, High Voltage, I Have Not Begun, Hands Held High, Wretches and Kings, When They Come For Me, Nobody's Listening (We Major version, and the original), A Place For My Head, Bleed It Out. Yeah, I know, I suck when it comes to decisions. Worst: In Stereo, Forgotten, Easier To Run.
Favourite - Step Up, And One, Forgotten (Demo Version), WTCFM, I Have Not Begun, A Place For My Head, In The End (Demo) Least Favourite - Somewhere I Belong, Lying From You, Burn It Down .. they're just so bland and over simplistic I like that Wretches and Kings is a chuck d homage, but i don't think its THAT great
Most returned album of 2001? I highly doubt they even keep track of such a statistic. What I do know is that HT was the highest selling album of 2001 one of the (if not the highest) highest albums of the new millennium. Gonna need a source on that one.
How did I know I was going to get attacked for that statement. To some it may have sounded like I meant ALL of HT/Meteora, but I honestly only mean the crappy cheesy crap. Stuff like the raps on A Place for My Head are still fucking golden, and actually another one of my favourites. But then there's the raps that sound honestly sound too dark and edgy, as if Mike was trying too had to sound cool. Sure it's awesome, but the cheese factor in a lot of cases cannot be denied. And I love how once again saying one small negative thing about Hybrid Theory or Meteora automatically glues the "I HATE OLD LP" name tag to my forehead.
