    Can't believe this is actually a girl on vocals! Som Pluijmers just sounded so brutal.
    Sadly she left the band a year after this record. Now she mostly does covers on Youtube. She really needs a new band!

    Though Asymmetry was my introduction to Karnivool, my opinion of it has dropped significantly, even if Aeon, We Are, and Sky Machine are among some of their best songs. Sound Awake > Asymmetry.

    I'm actually really glad they took a different approach with Asymmetry.
    I feel like they mastered their sound with Sound Awake, and it would be easy for them to replicate and recreate that sound but it would probably never reach the same heights.
    Even through I prefer Sound Awake, I still think Asymmetry was a great successor because it tried something different.
