I forgive you Joe! But damn...i was crazy excited when i saw that news post.

Well, the best way to look at it is that in a few days time we will have the entire song to listen to as much as we want. I'm sure we'll get maybe another one or two snippets before then too to hold us over just a little bit.

You guys [LPA] should be more careful next time instead of rushing into posting something just to be the first ones to do so. Research before posting false information and giving hope to fans, that doesn't look too professional. I think we'd all rather have the information a tad late as long as it's confirmed instead of getting fraudulent information, waiting for it only to have it not be true a couple hours later.

And this will continue to happen as long as you keep on this ongoing trend of posting things fast just to get the exclusive.

 

A site Moderator had contacted the station to get confirmation. That is doing research, and if they had not then there would have been a chance that the song could have been played after the fact and the news post would still have been useless as many people were hoping to hear it live, as it played on radio and not a rip. Also, it's more on the blame of X96 FM than it is the LPA since the station were the first to claim they would be playing the song today and then later saying something else.

Calm down. As a public news outlet you need to learn how to take criticism and constructive one at that. I didn't insult your capability as either a moderator or reporter, I simply voiced my opinion and view on the situation. Please be a bit more polite instead of using foul language against your own users. I haven't used vulgar vocabulary and I don't expect you guys to do so either.
