I can't wait to see Hulk Hogan debut infront of tens of thousands of TNA fans at the next Impact taping.
Yeah, that is pretty funny. Apparently they're trying to play it like he's just going to be a booker or something. Yeah right.
Anyone watching TLC tonight? Or happened to see UFC 107 last night? I'm not really a big fan of these themed PPV's like Hell in a Cell & Elimination Chamber that's coming up, kinda ruins it I feel when more than one match has the stipulation to it. Might be a good crack tonight though, looking forward to Christian & Shelton Benjamin in the ladder match atleast. UFC 107 SPOILERS Also, anyone catch UFC last night? that cut on Sanchez' head was lethal, haha, also it was a shame the Kongo & Mir fight was over quick, as impresive as it was for Mir.
Yeah, I saw it. A few surprises tonight for sure. Not a bad PPV but most of the matches and high spots were very sloppy. Also with Seamus winning the title, yeah, that was a bit WTF, but I also saw the replay, and Seamus didn't actually push Cena through the table. Cena went for a superplex off the top and as he did, Seamus slipped off the turnbuckle to the outside leaving Cena to put himself through the table, so that's slightly dodgy territory right there. I was kinda hoping Cena would cash in his rematch clause at the end of the night like he said he would, but he didn't. I'm assuming something will go down on RAW tonight about it, and I'll see if they pick up on the Cena putting himself through thing.
Bret Hart Signs With WWE. What the hell? Haha, if this is true, the next four months might be very interesting.
Yeah, I've heard that also, and it also looks like RVD is getting closer & closer to signing with TNA now too. So many signings everywhere, haha.
Is anyone else following the craziness going on in wrestling right now? Monday night wars? Bret Hart back on WWE television and hugging Shawn Michaels?, Jeff Hardy back with TNA?...wow. I can only trust that Hogan and Carter offered Jeff an obscene amount of money to come work for TNA again. There was talk before this evening that he was actually gonna head back to WWE for a Wrestlemania match with CM Punk...guess that's off the cards now.
Bret hugged Shawn?! Woah. I missed that. I need to find that somewhere. That's huge considering the Montreal screwjob, as we all know. I stopped watching wrestling but now since Bret is back, I might just have to watch it for a little while.
I guess it's true what they say, WWE programming is only at it's best when it's got some competition. I'd say that if TNA keeps progressing the way it has been then, dare I say, Wrestling might get that mid 90s spark back. It's unfortunate TNA is now ran by Hogan though. I'd never want anything Hogan was in charge of to succeed but I guess if it means making Wrestling good viewing once again instead of the same old stale and predicatable nonsense then so be it. It is pretty funny how history repeats itself though...I will miss Jeff Hardy on WWE though, I didn't like his previous run in TNA whatsoever.
congratulations to TNA, for getting a huge steal in Jeff Hardy. it's going to bite them in the ass, though, when it comes back that he's been found guilty of drug trafficking. Impact was the drizzling shits last night. Just a total clusterfuck of a show. Steel Asylum bombed horribly, lolwutsup Homicide. About the only thing I did like was the women's tag match, and VAL VENIS! It was surreal flipping back and forth from Spike to USA, and it was like it was 1997 all over again. The original NWO was on Spike, and Shawn & Bret were on USA. RAW wasn't much better, save the Bret stuff. It was rumored that Bret signed a contract that ends shortly after WrestleMania. I'm going to enjoy the angles and whatnot leading up to WrestleMania, but the match itself will be atrocious. Probably a little 5 minute squash inbetween main events.
Yeah, that pretty much sums up everything I felt about the shows too. IMPACT! really wasn't that great of a show at all really. The Homicide botch at the start made me embarrassed just watching it. Seeing the nWo back together had a nice feel to it, and seeing Val Venis was great. Bret Hart pissed all over IMPACT! though, even if Raw didn't have much else to offer.
