He was a little off and it looked like he was a soprano at points, but it still doesn't matter. HE'S FUCKING BACK, BABY!!!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=VAIjZmYvuTo can't get it to inbed may be removed by the time you guys see it, but WOOHOOO!!!!
As opposed to the pig-tail-esque hair of his original debut, and the pink outfit he wore when he became Undisputed Champion?
Looks like these matches are pretty much confirmed for Armageddon: WWE Championship Randy Orton (c) vs. Chris Jericho World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Batista (c) vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker Triple H & Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga & Snitsky Shawn Michaels vs. Ken Kennedy
I'm so fucking pissed. I fell asleep RIGHT BEFORE Jericho returned. I woke up just to catch the tail-end of his promo. I woke up at 8 AM that day because I was so excited, and then I fucking fall asleep. Ugh. I watched it this morning on WWE.com, but it's not the same. I feel like a missed out on a part of wrestling history.
not to rub it in, but this makes the second time I've seen Jericho's debut "live". such great memories to store in the ol' memory bank
It's been confirmed that Carlito will be gone by the new year. Good riddance. Also, Hardy/Trips has been confirmed for Armageddon, as seen on RAW. Bye bye, Umaga and Snitsky. Yuck.
5 matches were signed for Armageddon Hardy/Trips Phoenix/Mickie Finlay/Khali HBK/Kennedy Jericho/Orton (confirmed on WWE.com) Looking like it'll be Batista/Taker/Edge on the SD side of things, the final Kane/BDV match (FINALLY!) and the 50,438th meeting of Punk/Morrison. Add in a meaningless Tag title match and we're golden.
Honestly, after the whole Morrison/Miz/JBL debacle, I think the Miz will be given the 1 on 1 title shot. Or another three-way. All signs point to Edge defeating Batista tonight at the SmackDown! tapings, so I would expect a threeway as well with Edge retaining leading into an Undertaker feud that culminates at WrestleMania (streak v. streak).
hahah. yes. Y2J is back. and CM Punk is that dude. i wish The Rock and Carlito would have a match after Carlito gets some sort of top card push.
Apparently this is what's being lined up on the road to Wrestlemania (SPOILERS): Batista vs. Triple H being the main event for Wrestlemania. Orton will beat Y2J and Triple H will beat Jeff Hardy at Armageddon earning a title match at the Royal Rumble in a match that he will win the title. Batista will win the rumble itself and go over to raw to challenge for Triple H's title. On the Smackdown side of things it looks like Edge is probably gonna win the title at Armageddon and fued with the Undertaker up until Wrestlemania where it'll be not only the title on the line but each wrestler's Wrestlemania winning streak. There'll be an Elimination chamber match at No Way Out intwined in this fued. It's unclear who will win the chamber match but Edge will be walking in as champion and he or 'Taker will be leaving as champion. There's talk of HBK and Jericho forming a tag team and eventually winning the belts setting up a Tag Title match between them and Orton and Umaga at Wrestlemania. Rey Mysterio and MVP will probably fued up until Wrestlemania and both will probably be contestants in this years Money In The Bank ladder match which is also set to feature Kane, Finlay, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and possibly Jeff Hardy and Ken Kennedy. Jeff and Ken will fued up until 'Mania anyway. From what we saw on Raw this past monday, there's a very strong possiblity that the APA will reform for good as both JBL and Ron Simmons want to start Wrestling full time again. Hulk Hogan vs. The Great Khali is back on the cards however it might end up being a tag team match: Hulk Hogan & Hornswaggle vs. Khali and Shane McMahon.
Wow, what a shitty card that's shaping up to be. I like Edge/Taker...that's about it. HHH/Batista has been done before, Matt Hardy should be back before WM from his appendoctmy, so you finally do the blowoff at WM while Mysterio can still be in the MITB match. The Tag Title thing makes no sense, and the Hogan thing you mentioned sounds so fucking absurd. Least APA is possibly returning...and that is always a plus for me.
I've read rumours of a mini-feud between JBL and Ron Simmons to let JBL get back into the swing of things, and then JBL goes on to feud with Batista. Wow, all the hype surrounding Jericho's return and being immediately thrust into a World Title feud... all for it to be shot to hell after one PPV and being put into a tag team with HBK? I don't want to believe that. I've heard the Trips/Hardy feud will stretch until WrestleMania where Hardy is finally put over as a main event player. I can actually see Hardy winning the Rumble more than Batista, who is (a month away from the Rumble) the World Heavyweight Champion. Who does that put over? No one. I don't think any of these plans save the MVP/Mysterio and Edge/Taker matches will come to frutation. Around this time last year Orton/Trips was supposed to headline 'Mania, but they didn't. And Hogan will once again probably back out on his match one he realizes he's teaming with a midget against a worker that isn't even in the same caliber as Andre The Giant or Big Show, and a spotmonkey McMahon.
