Still, the fact that there could be talk of that is freakin' awesome. I think WWE needs Jericho back more than ever, he's one of the wrestlers that holds it so well.
SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER! (highlight below) ---> Monty Brown is probably going to debut tonight on ECW<---
http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/3877160223 Vince is doing some "spring cleaning" with his roster. Following people are gone Terkay Jazz Rodney Mack Tony Mamaluke The Basham Brothers Al Snow (will still be employed as a trainer) The Gymini Gangrel
Um... Where the hell was Gangrel? I would've loved to see his entrance again. Terkay I'm surprised about. Didn't he get there like a couple months ago? Another thing...Why the hell wasn't Mike Knox fired?
I wanted Gangrel to come back...I always loved his entrance music and I was looking forward to this Vampire Faction with Kevin Thorn and Aerial but oh well... I think firing people really does make Vince's day. Oh...and what the hell is Monty Brown's name now? No...even better quiestion...why has his name changed?
Im not that big of a wrestling fan, I watched it a couple years ago when The Undertakes still had his Rollin' theme I always loved it, and Super Dragon is awesooome
Bam Bam Bigelow has passed away aged 45, the cause of his death is yet unknown. Also Tatanka and C.W. Anderson were added to the list of released WWE superstars today.
It sucks that Bam Bam Bigelow died... I was a huge fan. R.I.P. Bam Bam. And wtf?! Tatanka's gone? Damn you WWE!
Just when you thought WWE was on the up slightly, Vince goes and fires like half the ECW originals (No exageration considering not many were left anyway) and some people I was looking forward to seeing return like Gangrel and Rodney Mack. But that's really bad news about Bam Bam Bigelow. RIP.
I know. Every week, I'd be saying, "Where the hell are all the ECW originals?" Well, it looks like I don't have to wonder too much now. And Tatanka...I was so happy he was back in the ring. Especially since he represented the Native Americans. (I'm part NA) ANd he was always a big favorite in my book. I was hoping to see big things since his return. But oh well... And Gangrel. I was hoping to see him with Kevin Thorn and Ariel too. But forget that. And I agree with Grandmaster. What is up with Monty Brown's new name? They called him Monty Brown when they signed him. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I found out why Monty Brown' name is now Marquis Cor Von. Jim Ross states: "Monty Brown debuted as Marquis Cor Von because the publicly traded WWE wanted to own the character’s name and intellectual property. I strongly suggest that the WWE will own the vast majority if not all their performer’s names in the future. Yes, I know it did not used to be that way, but that was then and times have changed. Protecting the company’s intellectual property is an obligation to the stockholders. Personally, I like the name Monty Brown, but this decision apparently wasn’t made based on like but on need and to legally protect the WWE. Bottom line, it is what it is and all the bitching in the world isn’t going to change it."
So it seems every wrestling fan's worst nightmare might well come true. Oh and by the way this Donald Trump business needs to end. Now.
I don't think it is...WWE signed Ace Steel (person who played Trump; ROH mainstay) to a developmental deal. Personally, I would love to see more cowbell than wig
Donald Trump and K-Fed-like story lines are seemingly now going to be normal in WWE. Seeing that K-Fed's appearance gained WWE more viewers (consider the pop culture status of the folks WWE has been featuring as of late), I believe McMahon is probably going to milk it for all it's worth. Although it may not be the best draw, you can tell WWE has reached a new audience because the K-Fed segment was featured on the likes of VH1's Best Week Ever... Which is dedicated to the week's happenings in pop culture and will definitely draw curious onlookers. And thus: higher ratings. I smell a cash cow no matter what the fans think. On another note, I swear that TNA is starting to become another WWE. Less wrestling, more story. I wish TNA would concentrate on younger TNA talent than continuously shoving ex-WWE/WCW talent in our faces. But that's just me. The same goes for ECW. I read the folks in charge of booking or whatever has decided to de-push CM Punk because he was against some of their decisions or something. I've stopped watching ECW because of the repetitiveness (which was why I stopped watching wrestling all together a few years ago), and I'm thinking of doing the same with TNA (I don't even get Smackdown! here any more )... We need something fresh and considering even the X-Division doesn't get much more than a stupid promo every week, it doesn't look too promising. At least with pop icons in WWE, we can see them get F-Ued or something.
I put a couple things invisible, just in case no one wants to know the RR outcome if highly possible. -Reports within WWE say management wants the winner of the Royal Rumble to be an absolute shock, so don't expect to see the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels (despite the event being held in his hometown) or even Randy Orton get the nudge. Apparently, Vince McMahon has very high regards in working on the ECW brand in making it as strong as both Raw and Smackdown. By doing so, Vince has expressed feelings of having an ECW competitor go over this Sunday. Right now, McMahon is leaning towards xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxCM Punk who would come off as both a shock, and a surprise. At this point, management doesn't feel anyone is as over with the crowd, with the exception of RVD, who has a very slim chance of gaining another major push in WWE anytime soon. Marcus Cor Von (Monty Brown) was brought up several times as a possible contender for the ECW Title, but many feel he isn't in any position to win the Royal Rumble match, and he is expected to have a lengthy build-up to WrestleMania. Even with xxxxxxxxxxxxCM Punk getting the unexpected Rumble win, the ECW Title match isn't expected to go on as the main event at WrestleMania, but would more than likely be apart of a triple main event scenario..
