Angle is going to kill himself. I didn't see the TNA PPV, but I read the news... What is he thinking? The guy pulls muscles but still wants to compete, and he's only been released recently and wants to compete again soon? That's got to be unhealthy.

Also, what is up with TNA signing ex-WWE guys now? It's like people leave WWE and go to TNA, and then TNA spends a lot of time bashing WWE (like Rhyno). I don't get it. I mean, from a business standpoint, why bother trying to compete with WWE? TNA only shoots in one area and tapes their shows back to back. Add that they are only using ex-big names like Jarrett, Sting, etc... The only real original I've seen get some spotlight has been Samoa Joe. The guy is good so I don't understand why TNA decides to push ex-big names on the brand when they have perfectly good talent as it is that represent the TNA brand on it's own. Hell, even the X-Division could make TNA something in it's own light instead of trying to steal WWE's thunder... Which isn't going to happen any time soon no matter how big the names.

I hope that they don't give Angle some type of Sting-like story line. God, this whole Jarrett vs. certain TNA-stars thing is getting so boring to watch.

Eh, what ever though. I might end up having to put my foot in my mouth. I'm more concerned about what Angle's entrance music is going to be. I wonder if it'll be like Sabu's when he was in TNA... A lower production version of the theme used in WWE...

Kurt Angle to TNA?...oh dear oh dear Kurt, I thought you had some form of self decentcy...

I bet the doors are closed to him going back to WWE now

I seriously thought it was gonna be Chris Jericho

    ==

Love them or hate them, TNA has made one of the smartest moves ever though. For Vince to let someone like him go and have him join TNA is a death move in my books. He's let Christian go, he let Rhino go, he let the Dudleys go...look at them now. Not to mention that TNA has the greatest upcomers in the business in Styles, Christopher Daniels, Homicide (he will be, guarantee it) and some person that goes by the name JOE! Yeah, what does Vince do...UMMMAGA anybody?

TNA happens to have though the little respect I still have for this business to stay on it's feet. And while ROH, CHIKARA, and CZW may be kicking ass, TNA is the future of pro wrestling and I wouldn't be shocked if they become the top brand in the next few years.

True enough, Vince sucks when it comes to business.

And the WWE writing team are bollocks for not coming up with anything for all those released superstars.

People can say what they like about TNA, but TNA has had a better product than WWE has had for a long long time now.

I'm not trying to start anything here, but you guys honestly think it's a good idea for TNA to sign Angle now?

I ask because if you think about it, Angle from a business standpoint is not all he's cracked up to be. He's got a good reputation and there's no doubt he's got a fan base, but he's also hard headed. You also know if Angle isn't going to be main eventing and or title hunting, he'll have something to say about it... Assuming those things said about his release was true.

Fact is, Angle is going to cost TNA more than a pretty penny if he doesn't realize he is human. If the guy pushes himself too much, TNA is going to be looking at a lot of medical bills and having to put Angle out for those injuries. If it were any other time, where Angle was healthy both mentally and physically, I'd say TNA just dropped a bomb on WWE. But as it stands, I feel as if Angle is going to cost more than he's worth at this time. The man is definitely profitable... until he crashes and burns.

It's good on Angle for the following reasons:

    1) Less hectic schedule. He'll probably rarely work TV matches, and the travel schedule only requires him to work iMPACT tapings/PPV tapings, which is 2 days out of the week. So he'll be able to go home and be with his family and clean up as well as wrestling.

    2) Would you rather him be in Japan with the stiff fucks like Kenta Kobashi? Or in MMA with people like Mirko Filipović or Fedor Emelianenko?

Let's face facts: One way or another, Angle was going to sign with someone else. There's no stopping that for Angle, short of death or permanent paralysis. TNA is the best option, but that's like saying cigarettes are healthier than cigars, you know?

Either way, I look forward to Joe/Angle, which is already going to happen by all accounts that I've heard. And be for the NWA Championship.

P.S. - Angle blackballed from WWE? You're funny. Jeff Hardy, who was addicted to worse things than prescription painkillers and jumped to TNA, was welcomed back with open arms and given a push. No one is ever blackballed from WWE. Vince has opened the doors open/back open to people he swore he'd never work with, ie Sable & Bischoff. Except the Ultimate Warrior, because he's a fucking nutjob.

My only fear is despite the less hectic schedule, Angle isn't going to take it easy. Considering the man denies ever being in pain, or finding ways to ignore and/or relieve it for just the moments he's in the ring, that's no where near healthy. Drugging yourself up to do just to do something isn't right. Angle should know any company is willing to pick him up when he's back and healthy.

I'm disappointed in Angle simply because the guy needs to remember he's human. He keeps pushing himself and despite being good at his profession and passionate as well, he's approaching this completely the wrong way. If I remember correctly, his family situation was in jeopardy as well as his health. I read he is back with his wife, but he won't be around much to enjoy it if he keeps pushing himself.

I don't want to see Angle run himself into the ground to where he does in fact die or becomes paralyzed. I know the fans don't really see that, they see it as he's only going to wrestle twice a month. It doesn't change the fact that wrestling takes a toll on your body, add if he has to take any sick bumps (which I'm sure TNA will make him do for ratings) will further destroy the poor man. For me, it isn't so I can geek out for my favorite brand; I love TNA's production as much as I do WWE's, so I can say from a neutral standpoint the man is insane for signing a contract so quickly after being released without fixing the problems at hand first.

Anyways, I don't agree Angle had to go anywhere. The way I see it is the man is just too stubborn for his own good. I don't think he'd have to go to MMA, or anywhere for that matter--he just should have taken a break from wrestling all together and come back when he doesn't have to rely on drugs to get through. It's pathetic how a man of Angle's stature will rely on them so heavily; he's greatly respected, he's proven himself... It's unnecessary.

Kid Kash has just been released from WWE.

Wow, Vince must really want only like 10 people on each roster...

Another talent wasted by WWE. Kash has always been a good wrestler, it's just that the WWE treated him pretty crap, just like a ton of other wrestlers on the roster.

Kash was getting a push in the tag division as part of the Pitbulls, what are you talking about? I read he got released due to an attitude problem. If that's true, then I can't really sympathize. Act like an ass at your job and expect to be treated like one. Damn. :p

Then why are Randy Orton, Undertaker, Triple H etc. still working for WWE then?

They all had a history of bad attitude backstage, they wont dare do anything about it though because Orton and Taker are too big to throw away and lets face it the day they fire HHH is the day Vince streaks through Manhattan.

I find it increadibly contradictory that people are getting fired in the wrestling business for having a bad attitude to people backstage

Well I see it as you have to be a pretty big jackass to get fired for being one. The fact that Kid Kash was on the verge of supposedly a push in the tag division might have solidified himself a place in the company. Unlike Undertaker or Ortan who solidified their place, Kid Kash was lesser known in the company, so therefore he can't act like an ass. Sadly, that's the biz. You have to do what you don't want sometimes to get anywhere. :p

I'm sure if Ortan wasn't so promising and wasn't over with the crowd as he is, he'd have been let go by now after all the stuff he's supposedly pulled.

Kevin Nash re-signed with TNA and will be re-joining immenitely. Same role as before he left...which is a sigh of relief if you've been watching iMPACT as of late.
