What do you expect them to do? Hardy, whether you're a mark for him or not, doesn't draw. You can't put him in the main-event, because who's going to believe Jeff fucking Hardy can beat someone like Triple H or John Cena? I mean, honestly. His whole career was based around the Hardy Boyz. He's always going to be a tag-team wrestler. Matt is a different story, since he actually broke the mold and became the HBK of the Hardy Boyz (Jeff is Jannetty). I expect Jeff to either be up against a midcard worker like Conway or someone. That's all he can really do tonight. I doubt WWE wants to take the obvious, boring route and involve Jeff with Edge & Lita, since Edge is in a program with Cena. It's midcard match or bust for Jeff. He'll really never get anywhere else in WWE. I can see why. He's just a spot monkey. Never really showed any other talent than falling off a 20 foot ladder through a table. edit: lol, that was a rant and a half.
Exactly. I like Jeff and all, but that right there is what breaks him. I (probably others) always thought Jeff was going to be the HBK and Matt be the Jannetty. Turns out it's the other way around. -__- I'm happy Jeff is returning, but it's going to be no different than when he left. He needs to be teamed up with Matt again. It's really the only way people will give a shit about him, lol.
There's a time and place for highspots, but when all of Jeff's matches consist of turning his body into ways that I can't possibly imagine, it gets boring. There's no psychology to his matches. Ultimately, when you get right down to it, this is wrestling. Wrestling needs psychology. Jeff & Matt's roots are in backyard wrestling, and then OMEGA. It just seems one of two actually payed attention in training, because the other is a total backyard wrestler. Oh, and about that 'Taker/Jeff ladder match? All I have to say is.. overrated. I've seen better Undertaker matches. I've seen better ladder matches. Never seen a good Jeff Hardy match, though. The TLC matches are pretty cool, but they're all just highspot after highspot linked together by chair shots. If I wanted garbage wrestling, I'd watch Big Japan. Oh, and for Keaton:
Funny backstage story at the Raw tapings today. Apparently the management mindset is how HHH and Michaels got the better of Hogan, apparently the joke is how HHH is bragging "I got three words for you...Suck it brother." I didn't see it that way. Looked to me that Hogan did the crotch chop and got a big rise, and HHH did the ear cupping and couldn't get close to the reaction Hogan got earlier, and it showed in his face. According to one person, Hogan punked them out and HHH, Shawn or the braintrust can't accept it.
Ah, nice. So TNA could get exciting again. I agree, I love Jeff for his high spots. If it weren't for the Hardy Boyz' knack to risk their bodies for matches, I'd probably never become a fan of them. But I think even though that's all he may be known for in his career, it's still something to be proud of. I'm not defending the guy entirely, though. He's no Angle or Benoit, but for his department of "spot monkey," he does his job well. To be honest, I love seeing technicality, but if it were all technical wrestling I'd get bored. I mean, I watch NOAH, and half the time I'm just aching that a heavyweight will get a suplex off the edge of the canvas, or a lightweight match is up next because majority of technical heavyweights just grapples/submission and a combination of chops, elbows or kicks. So I think Jeff is good in the sense that it's a different generation of wrestling all together. He's willing to use his body as a weapon rather than skillfully make his opponent tap out. That's how I always seen people like the Hardys anyways. The same goes for London/Kendrick. I heard London is a great wrestler all around, but what made him a big name (at least in the WWE) I would imagine would have been the high spots. But anyways, that's just how I see it. Of course, too many high spots make it boring, but having people like Jeff in the business help to diversify the content on shows. If Jeff stays on RAW, then his style can definitely break up the heavyweight/technical rotation of RAW (assuming he's still a high flier). As much as I would like to see Jeff some how mold himself into a singles wrestler, I would be content with the old Jeff assuming that the company used him properly. How they should go about doing that I'm not all too sure of, but yeah. I just want to see some good tag action again. I want to see another tag team TLC match, damn it!
tag team wrestling is dead in american professional wrestling. although, i'm quite enjoying the team of Homicide and Hernandez in TNA.
All they need to do is get those other two bums out (Moody Jack and Konnan) and we're good, but LAX is sure kicking ass.
Is it just me or did Hardy look different on RAW? I don't know what it was, but the energy was a bit lacking or something. His music didn't sound as it used to and he kind of just came out and did a Hardy shuffle or something with some air humping. Anyways, he looked good on RAW. Perhaps it's just because I haven't seen him ever since I stopped watching wrestling, but he seemed to do all right on RAW. To be honest, I'm glad Hardy's feuding with Edge... I was getting tired of Edge and Cena going at it week after week... I was all for it for a while, but it got way too repetitive. At least now Hardy gets some spotlight back and we see something new (hopefully). I'm just crossing my fingers that WWE doesn't pull a TNA on Hardy. I read that Hardy stopped showing up to shows on TNA because he went from title hunting/main events to jobbing or something. Hopefully that doesn't happen in WWE, considering his first match back was with the WWE champion and all... It was very reminiscent to see the Jeff Hardy swanton at least one more time as well.
Yeah, but there was rumours of a TLC WWE Championship match at Unforgiven. With Hardy coming into the picture, it seems all the more likely.

As Casey said earlier it is highly likely that the main event of Unforgiven will be Edge vs. Cena vs. Jeff in a TLC match. From what I understand from my source Hardy will recieve a push in the coming weeks and this could very well be it. A Kane vs. Unmaga Cage match could be on the bill for Unforgiven also however the cage part is only a rumour at this point. Expect Johnny Nitro to lose the IC title soon. Possibly to Ric Flair or Carlito. There's rumours of a special stipulation match between Rey Mysterio and Chavo w/ Vickie (Vickie turned on Rey during the Smackdown! tapings) London/Kendrick will lose the tag titles to that new tag team managed by Michelle McCool in the coming weeks. The Rock wont be making an appearence in WWE anytime soon. Same goes for Stone Cold. Matt Hardy vs. Gregory Helms for the Cruiserweight title is a possible match for No Mercy. That's it for now.
KURT ANGLE RELEASED FROM WWE/ECW Well it sounds as if he's only gone for now. Hopefully he'll be back soon.
WWE SMACKDOWN! VS. RAW 2007 ROSTER CONFIRMED I think it's a pretty decent roster, no London or Kendrick though and Jeff hardy would have been awesome but still a very good list so far. Legends will be announced soon however there are rumours that ECW stars will replace the legends.
What the hell kind of roster is that? It's decent but not what I expected from them. They add Khali but they don't add London/Kendric?! At least London should be in there as I'd think considering he was in '06 it would only make sense... Ugh, oh well. I'm just hoping there are more CAW slots, at least for the 360 version so I don't have to worry too much about having to make wrestlers not on the roster. Just for that, they better have Burchill in his pirate gimmick, damn it.
Don't worry yet, there are very strong rumours that some charecters have to be unlocked besides the legends so they might still be in.
That's odd. I'd assume if there are unlockables, it would be like they were before... Like you could unlock the McMahons and such. Oh well, we'll have to just wait and see.
