Sounds like a mess. Anyway, here is some news:

Guerrero's Family @ No Way Out
The Heart Throbs Released From WWE
The thing with this is, they're probably pretty good wrestlers, it's just that they had a really shit gimmick.

I don't like WWE using Eddie Guerrero's name in their storylines, it was true what Test said, Mcmahon probably though "Guerrero death? Mo money mo money mo money".Nevertheless I'm glad the heart throbs are gone, stupid gimmick and slightly irritating.

I loved the Heart Throbs

Ok, how about we do predictions tonight for Against All Odds

*Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens vs. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong - Aries and Strong own you.
*Alex Shelley vs. Matt Bentley vs. Jay Lethal vs. Petey Williams - I'm a huge mark for the Destroyer.
*Homicide & Apolo vs. James Gang - Who cares
*Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Sonjay Dutt & Chris Sabin - As much as I want to see Dutt and Sabin win it, they can't due to the Team 3D angle.
*Rhino vs. Abyss - Whatever happens, something insane is going down
*Samoa Joe vs. A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels - It's not going to be like the 9/11 encounter, but it's going to be damn good. Plus, I'm a severe mark for Joe right now.
*Team 3D vs. Bobby Roode & Eric Young - It's obvious.
*Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage - See AMW vs. Dutt and Sabin and replace Team 3D with Sting.

The more Eddie is mentioned in storylines and is kept in the fans' memories, the more Eddie merch they sell, and all of the money from Eddie's merch goes to his family.

I see nothing wrong with that. His wife will never be able to make the sort of income that Eddie was bringing in. The end justifies the means.

I guess, but they could still do the same thing without being so controversial about it.

    Not everyone thinks it's controversial.

I still don't see how it is. The only people that should even get worked up over it are the marks. We're all way too intelligent to be sucked into this bullshit. It's a storyline. That's it. End of story.

Yeah, I know. It doesn't really bother me, I'm just playing devils advocate. What does bother me is that the WWE has to result to these kinds of storylines in order to get heat. The writing behind the WWE just frustrates me sometimes because I know they could do better.

They did the same thing during the Gulf War when alot more than one person died/was dying. They've always done low things to get cheap heat. It's cheap, it's sleazy, and dirty. That's wrestling.

IMO think Vince tries to get publicity through contraversy. Think about it, what normal person would use a deceased persons name just to feed fuel to a storyline? Let alone come up with a charecter like Muhamed Hassan and still broadcast that terrorism angle on the week of the London attacks or charecters like the Unamericanz during the Gulf War and the Cold war...its all used to shock and shocking people makes them wanna see more. Its a twisted method but it does generally work. Sometimes it's just sad how they can't accept the fact that it pisses alot of people off though...

All press is good press. It draws attention to your company, even if it's bad. Every piece of writing on the Guerrero situation, Muhammed Hassan, Iron Shiek, Nikolai Volkoff, Sgt. Slaughter and Katie Vick has/had the potential to draw in new viewers that are intrigued by the shitstorm. All those situations (bar Katie Vick) probably drew in a few new fans. Maybe they didn't stick around, but they watched a show probably.

See, this is exactly why I don't watch TNA, Christian a world champ? I never thought I'd see the day. And Earl Hebner was an unpleasent surprise, WWE should never have fired him...

It's a way to stick it to Vince. I mean, i'm sure that he's not worrying a damn thing about it but still.

And it's good to see Christian finally get his due. He's a good wrestler with talent.

Funny thing was, Jarrett locked Cage in the sharpshooter and you could hear Cage going "Don't you dare do it" (Montreal screwjob)

Gee, I've been on this forum for nearly 2 years and you still fail to realise that I don't like snidy comments like that wether it's a joke or not. I lost one bet and now I'm wrong about everything? Damn, I wonder what it's like to be you then since you must be right all the time eh?

Yeah I'm uptight but I might be braindead in a few years time so cut me some slack. :p

Everyone check this out, its Michael Cole going apeshit on his radio programme  http://pottymouthcole.ytmnd.com

Okay someone give Casey his crown because he's obviously the unquiestioned master of this forum (or so he'd like to think anyway)
