WWE wants it to seem like it's a shoot. That's why he'll most likely cut an anti-WWE promo at Ring Of Honor, and he'll probably be at the TNA PPV on Sunday too.
Ugh, WWE just keeps making me want to watch it less and less with every thing I hear about. I stopped watching Wresting probably a year or so ago (I was really heavily into it before then). ECW, at it's prime, was the best thing I'd ever seen back then. They had it all. Especially Raven and RVD. Memories. :hugz:
I'm right there with you. I kinda lost interest in it probably somewhere in 2001. I still watch it (obviously) every now and then but the storylines just don't draw me to watch like they used to. Plus, a lot of my favorite wrestlers are gone. I'll probably start watching more and more now due to this whole Matt Hardy thing going on though. I've missed him. Oh yeah, ECW was the shit. <3
I watch WWE fairly often adn this past week i missed both shows so yah i'm kinda dissapointed that I missed the whole Matt Hardy thing. Whoever said Cena is an awesome wrestler doesn't know much about wrestling. Cena is one of the worse technical wrestlers in the WWE. All hes got going for him is that he is extremely popular and good on the mic. I mean I like his personality, but I can tell that he is a shitty wrestler. The FU is probably one of the worse finishing moves of all the wrestlers. Now that the rosters ahve been revamped by the draft I think RAW will be alot better and Smackdown should still be pretty good. Angle is quite possibly one of the best in the business and Carlito is one of the best newbies to the WWE in a while. Once agian he isa shitty wrestler but his whole gimmic is really good.
I agree about Cena,I've been FUed before (or something increadibly similar) and it really doesn't hurt. How WWE can say that JBL can kick out of a Tombstone Piledriver but not an FU (which is basicly a cheaper more shittier version of the Deatn Vally Driver) is quite beyond me. And you're right, sometimes the gimmick is better than how the wrestler does his/her work. However with gimmicks such as Kane and The Undertaker the wrestling goes well which is why when they were a tag team they were THE best. They should never have unmasked Kane though, not yet anyway. And I'm glad to see that once little guys like Matt Hardy and Shelton Benjamin are getting huge pops from the crowds.
I watched Heat to see if they would show a recap of the Matt Hardy thing, but they didn't show it. You were right, Casey. I just hope they show something about it on RAW tomorrow night.
They won't show what happen last week, but he'll be at RAW tomorrow, bank on it. Matt is in Orlando tonight. He met with TNA officials earlier.
From what I heard, he's not going to show. This coming from a guy who tried to get into TNA's No Surrender and failed because of the horrible security and the capacity.
Yeah, he didn't show. Check out NWATNA's No Surrender PPV, replay / recap video here. It looked like a pretty good show, and Rhyno showed obviously. He speared Raven which wasn't a surprise.
Even in ECW they were real life enemys ECW and WWE just used that to make storylines however they always failed
NWATNA released this statement regarding Matt Hardy. Here is some info on The Rocks next movie, not really wrestling news anymore, but hey, if you care. It sounds like another bad movie starring The Rock to add to the list. Here is the official Raw Preview for tonight from WWE.com. Hopefully it will be a good show, and i think we can pretty much say that Hogan is bound to accept. I'm hoping to see some more on Matt Hardy, even if he's not there, i want to see some refferences to him.
Just announced main event for raw is Kane vs. Edge in a steel cage match. I'd heavily expect Matt Hardy to somehow get involved.
Damn straight, i'm not surprised at all. I think the WWE are playing this storyline great, they're making it seem as real as any shoot. He may be back to interupt again later on, as he managed to escape security through the crowd whilst running past Bam Margera.
They are playing this up great. JR & The King are not even mentioning what happened. God, I hope Matt comes back out. Oh yeah, I saw Bam Margera. That was great. B) Edit: Edge vs. Kane in a stretcher match next week. Sheesh, as long as these two keep having matches together, Matt Hardy will keep interfering in them. Fine by me...
Earl Hebner Fired From WWE!!! Now that is a real shame, Hebner was indeed the greatest refferee, besides Tim White. It'll be sad to see him disappear.
I was just about to post that If anything they should fire Nick Patrick,he's the one who got drunk at summerslam 2001 and ended up punching Vince Mcmahon in the face Earl is the best ref there is. 4 more WWE cuts are expected,I predict they'll be: Scotty 2 Hotty Kervin White (Chavo Guerrero) Ivory Sylvan Granier I hope the top 3 dont go,I hope these ones go: Chris Masters Bashams Nick Patrick
I'll miss those "You screwed Bret" chants. In all seriousness, it sucks what he did. I don't think he should've been fired though. :wth:
