The ending to Raw this week... Did the camera work make anyone else dizzy, or is it just me? I understand it was supposed to be chaos, but Jesus Christ, so many zoom in zoom out and quick pans. Ugh.
Two UFC cards this weekend and also the WWE TLC PPV on Sunday. I didn't follow the TUF Smashes Season but I'm rooting for Sotiropoulos tonight, should be a good night of MMA on Friday. I watched TUF 16 and I'm hoping Mitrione and Ricci get the wins tomorrow. There's some decent fights on the card tomorrow overall so it should be a good weekend.
Sapp vs. Overeem. FINALLY.
That was awesome! No idea this existed! hahaha. Gotta love Japan and the variety in their entertainment. In other news.. Reem vs. Valesquez or JDS is looking mighty interesting right about now. The heavyweight roster is definitely the most exciting it has ever been in the UFC.
"Come Royal Rumble, understand that when you step into the ring, your arms are just too short to box with God." I fucking love CM Punk.
So, UFC on FX 7 is tonight. Not the most impressive card, but I'm excited for the main event at least. A lot of people seem to think Belfort knocking Bisping out is a foregone conclusion (I kind of hope those people are right, honestly). If Vitor is too tentative, though, I could easily see Michael pick his shots from the outside, clinch Vitor against the cage and score a few takedowns, and generally out-hustle Vitor for a UD. Vitor needs to go in there with no respect for Michael's striking and just start looking for that knockout early if he's going to win this. The longer the fight goes, the better chance Vitor has of losing.
I hope so. Sadly, I'm almost positive that we'll see The Rock Vs. John Cena II at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship. (Which would be lame and VERY predictable.)
(I hate to double post, so sorry...) John Cena wins at the Royal Rumble.... The Rock wins the WWE title... Wrestlemania 29 - Twice in a lifetime! John Cena Vs The Rock!
Can't wait to miss it. Again. Now begs the question of who screwed Punk out of the title? I do not think it was The Shield that came out when it was dark.
That was bullshit. I'll only accept this match if they add Punk to make it a triple threat. That would be amazing. Punk can retain it again at Wrestlemania elevating him to superstardom. The best moment of the night for me was Jericho's return
Royal Rumble was big disappointment for me. 1. Cena wins the Royal Rumble (Who would have guessed?) 2. Jericho returns (again) - And he'll probably leave again in a few months because of Fozzy or whatever. I mean, it like what, his 4th coming now? IMO, it gets boring after a while. 3. Goldust returns (Really, who cares?! I like him as a wrestler, but lets face it, his career's more or less over and I think WWE's just gonna sideline him like they've been doing all these years) 4. The Rock wins. (Clichè, again) According to me, WWE are really running out of ideas. What I would love to see, though is Jeff Hardy returning this year because his contract with TNA is almost over. (He'll probably just renew his contract, because he's doing quite well there and I don't think WWE wants to get involved in the whole drug thing again)
Jericho has reportedly signed a short term contract that would lead up to a match at Wrestlemania. Source Also, if anyone cares, Brock Lesnar has also reportedly reached a deal for a 2 year contract (Which I'm sure is for limited dates.). Source
