They need to do something about Cena. Make him a heal. He gets heat anyway. I do like Kane's "new?" image though.
Cena made like $102 million for WWE last year apparently. I don't think we'll be getting a full fledged heel turn. Might have shades of a heel, but that's it. John Cena is a brand unto himself now. To compare, Austin made something like $18 million in revune for WWE in 1998, the peak of the Attitude Era.
Anthony Johnson is a dumb motherfucker. Travels all the way to Rio, weighs in 11lbs over, forfeits 20% of his fight purse, gets choked the fuck out by Vitor, then gets fired by Dana (for losing and the 3 strikes rule of cutting/missing weight). DUMB DUMB DUMB
Yeah, I don't feel sorry for the guy at all. Most of his "talent" seems to stem from being significantly bigger than the guys he's fighting, so I don't think the UFC is losing a real prospect or anything.
It's what Cung Le tried to do to Wanderlei. Unfortunately he missed by a hair, and then proceeded to get his butt handed to him. /cry.
Yeeeeah, I don't see that fight being competitive at all. If Mayhem can take you down, Chael will have no problem doing it, too. The shit talking should be fun.
So I'm finally catching up on Raw... Anyone else notice Rick Ruben in the audience? Jericho shook his hand.
I noticed, it was awesome! LOL Punk, Jericho, and the Funkasaurus have actually really made RAW fun for me lately. Now I'm just anticipating an epic WrestleMania card to go along with Rock-Cena.
Ha, in other news.... WWE has Suspended Evan Bourne a Second Time for Drug Violations. Guess he didn't learn the first time.
If he'd just smoke actual marijuana instead of being a dumbass and smoking the synthetic shit, he'd still be on TV and only out $2500, instead of sitting at home for 60 days. What a loser. I refuse to like Brodus Clay because of his entrance music. I hate when they re-use old themes for new characters. I know most of the audience doesn't know who Ernest Miller is, but I DO DAMNIT! It's just lazy.
I feel proud knowing that I knew "The Cat" during his, um, tenure in the WWE (seeing him and his sidekick come out and just dance really made an impression on me as a 10-year-old kid LOL), but I don't mind hearing his theme being used for Brodus. Well, unless they release a more funkier theme for him.
Reports are coming in that WWE is thinking of changing two major matchs for Wrestlemaina. If things do change, I would be fine with The Undertaker Vs. Chris Jericho. CM Punk Vs. Triple H? Only if they have a good story to go along with it.... But seeing that they had a match a few months ago on the "Night Of Champions" PPV, I can't really get excited this one yet. Thoughts?
