I'm so happy if the rumors are true. It's always been a case of new promo, hope it's anyone but Taker!... turns out to be Taker. I'm glad it's Y2J if it is true. Plus, Jericho & Punk feud will be awesome and probably steal best match at Mania. Here's hoping.
So far, the top 3 matchs for Wrestlemania look to be.... John Cena Vs. The Rock CM Punk Vs. Chris Jericho The Undertaker Vs. Triple H I am excited for the first two matchs. The Undertaker Vs. Triple H part 3? Not so much. I agree they had an awesome match at Wrestlemania 27 (I know, I was there!) but this could be The Undertaker's last match at Wrestlemania or all of WWE. I would rather see him give a younger talent a rub or if he is going to face an older talent, then maybe have him go out facing Kane. Just my 2 cents... If it does happen, I'll probably still order the PPV.
it's Jericho. This year's Undertaker/Triple H match stunk the whole place up. That's my opinion. I know A LOT of people that love that fucking match. I don't know why.
All I want is a fucking Goldust Vs. Cody Rhodes match at WrestleMania, fuck, get Dusty in there somewhere too. How have they not done this yet? It's perfect and I'd love to see it.
because Cody Rhodes is a bigger star than his brother, and his father should be in a padded room at the WWE HQ, only allowed out for one hour and constantly made to tweet (it's awesome). but, for real, Cody deserves a better 'Mania match than FUCKING GOLDUST
MMA updates. UFC: 140: The Korean Zombie owns Hominick in a mere 7 seconds. It was surreal. Tito Ortiz cannot catch a break, gets battered within the first round against Lil' Nog. Hilarity ensues as Philippou punches Hamman around like it's nothing. Mir breaks Big Nog's arms (...jerk. ) Bones beats the dragon ( -_-.... fuck. ) Strikeforce: Cyborg (the female one) returns in a bout with Yamanaka this week. UFC 141: Lesnar returns to face Overeem. Goodluck Lesnar, you may need it.
I knew you'd be against it, haha. Cody definitely has more momentum now, and he's probably my favorite in the WWE at the current time but it could work. Granted Goldust isn't what he used to be, but that's only because the WWE has kept him as some comedy gimmick and probably his injuries have gotten in the way. Dustin's still good in the ring and I'm sure given enough time they could develop an angle and interesting feud, it could lead to the retirement of Goldust and would be the most fitting way for him to go out. GIVE IT A CHANCE, MAN!
Lesnar-Overeem is a coin toss for me. I could see Alistair blitzing Brock in the first round just as easily as I could see Brock wearing Alistair out. Factor in Brock's ring rust, though, and things start looking pretty grim for ol' Honkey Kong. Cowboy vs. Nate Diaz is going to be fireworks. So amped for that fight.
Zack Ryder - The NEW United States Champion! Daniel Bryan - The NEW World Heavyweight Champion! Thoughts? I thought for a PPV that WWE didn't hype very well.... it was a lot better then I thought it was going to be.
Damn good night! How was the crowd reaction to Bryan? He's gotten really blah reactions recently. Was it a heel turn? I know he cashed in on Show. I think Bryan needs a character with more depth... He's a good wrestler, just very bland personality wise... I also think Booker should have won. I know he is supposed to do another run. Perhaps the loss will lead to another shot? Ryder as the New Woo Woo US Champ is the right move. I personally think Ziggler can't wrestle out of a paper bag and by him being champ it bothers me. Even if he was a face, he's just another bland superstar for me getting an undeserved push. I don't think he is main event material. There was a Mr. Perfect. We don't want or need a re-hashed version of another.
The crowd was very into Bryan cashing in his "Money In The Bank" on the Big Show. So far, my guess is that Big Show will be the one turning heel. Also, CM Punk tweeted this picture of him and Dainel Bryan holding the titles from last night.
Thoughts? Way I look at it, it will just be a short term fix for a long term problem. Also, John Cena Vs. The Rock at Wrestlemania for the WWE title is way to predictable when it comes to an outcome. The Rock isn't a full time wrestler, so I don't think the WWE would just hand him the title just for him to drop it after Wrestlemania.
I'm convinced a Punk/Jericho program for the title at the next 'Mania is in the works, and those weird videos on RAW every week are for Jericho. Tonight's RAW should be electric, with it being from Chicago and whatnot.
Yeah, I'm looking foward to RAW tonight, the crowd in Chicago will be wild! If the videos are indeed for Jericho, (Which at this point there is no one eles I could think of that they would be for) the WWE creative team would be out of their minds to mess up a feud between CM Punk and Jericho for the WWE title at Wrestlemania.
Funny thing is that alot of listings advertise Kane vs Cena for the title. It might be that the return of Jericho costs Punk the title to one of those two.
