Absolutely not. I don't appreciate it when artists abuse their power to speak of politics in a way to provoke their audience to lean a specific way -- THEIR way. It's one thing if you're asked in a Q&A session where you stand on political issues, but when you're voicing your opinion so strongly that you blind everyone from other views and sculpting them to look at it only in your eyes in the situation, you're not to be taken seriously. People are too lazy to look into politics and so if a celebrity comes out and gives his/her opinion on something with a couple of seemingly convincing arguments to backup his/her statement, without any prior knowledge or any intention to look further into the issue, the audience will agree -- especially if they like the artist.
