Would ATS be a better album without the interludes?

If anything it'd be worse without them, so I voted for the Simpsons reference.

I love a lot of the interludes and I they portray a good message throughout the album. The only thing I think should have been done is add Empty Spaces to the beginning of When They Come For Me as one track.

The interludes are great but I think the album should have had more songs. I don't usually listen to the interludes.

ah Simpsons, use to love this show so much.

Anyway, the interludes are necessary to make the album feel like a complete listening experience. Otherwise it would just be like any other collection of songs.

I'm kinda 'meh' about the interludes. I like the Angels & Airwaves approach of including the interludes into the songs. LP kinda did this at the end of Wretches and Kings.

 

I don't think there's a perfect solution to this.
There are a lot of songs on my computer that i tell iTunes to shorten because I don't like the interludes within the same track.

On the other hand, I am so content with ATS, listening to the whole thing most of the time anyway, that whichever decision was made doesn't bother me. After all, they're only arbitrary breaks that you can't even hear most of the time - an invisible construct that exists only in your heads, not in the music. I feel that distinctions between where tracks start and end are not important to me at all.
