Alright Castle Of Glass and Skin To Bone too. But in my opinion Victimized is not new at all (maybe the folk part is an exception). It sounds like a song from Meteora, but much shorter, and uninspired, and boring, and lazy and and and..
Up to that point it was the heaviest Linkin Park song ever. They'd never done the death metal style either.
even APFMH and Reading my eyes maybe... most of these songs have a dark atmosphere that GATS and victimized dont have. GATS and victimized are heavy for the sake of being heavy, they lack substance. like "lets write a heavy song to surprise people, they will be so impressed when they hear it" IMO
1: Living Things 2: Meteora 3: Hybrid Theory 4: Minutes To Midnight 5: A Thousand Suns 6: The Hunting Party What is reanimation? I've never heard of it before.
Looks like Minutes To Midnight is the least popular. I suppose more people on this forum like heavier songs more than soft ones; MTM has a lot of soft songs.
The most basic answer from me is that "Reanimation" is a album featuring official remixes of every song from Linkin Park's debut album "Hybrid Theory" and then some. Even as it isn't a studio album, "Reanimation" is my favourite full-length release by Linkin Park to date. I doubt that you're going to enjoy it much if you dislike the majority of "A Thousand Suns" - I think that the two have a fair bit in common - but it could surprise you in a good way
Reanimation was quite tough for me to get into, or at least understand what it is, but I've grown to really enjoy it. It's not my favorite Linkin Park release, but it's very very solid. If you're into hip-hop or early-2000s electronica, you should like it.
