What he said, f*ck Metal-lick-a. If Wes joined, he' probably would make LP heavier, and darker. Which i would actually enjoy, so I'm gonna say if Wes supposebly joined, that would be deadly.
its ok if u dont like metallica, but kirk's talent is awesome, #### on what you say. and brad isnt a GREAT gitarrist, it's sad that he does mistakes live on stage after 3 years of touring on songs like in the end.
There's no room for Wes, period. Just like Limp's new guitarist will never be "in", Wes would never be "in". Now, if Wes was with LP from the begining, it would be a different story. It's almost like Phoenix...alot of my friends don't like him much. But Phoenix is an exception, considering they never had a real bassist until his arrival, departure, and arrival, so it's different. But when you already have two guitarists, and considering LP's style of music (where you don't focus on guitars or guitar solos), it would be overkill to the point where we wouldn't buy albums.

Brad's a great guitarist. People do make mistakes; no one's perfect. Metallica's new album is one big mistake.

HAHA i love how this topic went from a question into a Metallica bash fest....its amazing, i love it!
Kirk Hammett is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. If he was in LP you wouldnt be bashing him. And you have to remember that Lars doesnt really speak for all of Metallica, I mean, notice how he and he alone started the run against Napster, then the rest of the band followed him so he didnt look like a idiot.
That doesn't change the fact they make terrible music, lol.
Ride the Lightning my friend.
Ride the Lightning my friend.
Heard it earlier today, my dad was playing all his Metallica CDs. The only songs I like are "Enter Sandman" and "Nothing Else Matters." Everything else is freakin' terrible.
Its like trying to break into Fort Knox with you, isnt it. And Wes Borland's new band is terrible. They are called Eat The Day or whatever.

Well sorry you have absolutely no sense of optimism in your body and like to put an end to conversations. Weren't you the one who was preaching AGAINST hating on other people's opinions a month ago? Lighten up Bryan, for real.

Wes isn't going to join Linkin Park.

<smartass> Well, can I make a thread asking what people think about Justin Timberlake joining Linkin Park? </smartass>
