i'm pretty sure you can use any hair from any part of your body to do a drug test. so that's a pretty dumb reason to shave your head.
I think that it's ridiculous we're even discussing this. Celebrities do dumb things sometimes, usualy for attention, I see no difference in this. If she wants to make herself look fucking terrible for the attention then fine, let her look like Uncle Fester. Hell, I think the time she got caught wearing a short skirt with no underwear probably deserved a thread more than this.
She didn't take her hair with her either when she shaved it, so if she was going to be tested for drugs, she would not have left it there.
To be honest, I think that some of you are being quite unfair to her. Yes, there are a lot of celebrities that have media coverage and whatever but maybe they're better at handling it than her. Maybe they're less insecure, maybe they haven't been on centre stage for as long as she has. There's thousands of reasons for why people can have a break down so saying that's she an 'attention whore' and such is just stupid. It's not clever and it's not helping anyone. Now, I'm not a fan of Britney in any sense of the word but badmouthing her for this is just pointless. I mean, if you're taking the time out to say she's an attention whore, then (if this actually is all for attention) it has worked and worked damn well. In my opinion, people should lay off her and let her get on with it. And, on another note, the Paprazzi need to go fuck themselves because they're become ridiculous. I mean, if I were to go and follow a celebrity and take pictures of them then I'd be called a stalker and thrown a restraining order. What they're doing should be completely illegal. They're there simply to ruin peoples lives and let everyone around the world watch while they do it. All they're doing is picking peoples lives apart for money. Bitches, all of them.
Going with what Dedicated said, to be fair, i'm fed up of this. If I shave my head does it make me insane? No. If i go out partying is there a need for me to go to rehab? No. If I, or anyone else, acted the same as her would anyone actualy care? No. This is just the media being fuckheaded. Yes, she looks weird. Yes, she's acting differently. So? She's changed. Should it really matter that much..? I wish the media would just let her be.

I think living with the fact that you had 2 kids with Kevin Federline is a perfectly legitimate reason to destroy yourself. But seriously, it's just sad to see her in her current state. I think it's hit her that her place in the world was as a pop singer that was worshipped by tons of kids, envied for her looks by tons of women, and fantasized about by tons of guys. Becoming a mother, especially with a guy like K-Fed, was just a complete killer to her career, and she's almost certainly realized it.
