I'd like the new album to have a rock/hip-hop feel to it, but it doesn't matter because lp would sound great anyways.
Something similar to HT , but with fast playing tracks like faint in Meteora.. And a rap track from Mike and Joe
hmm id like to see some new stuff for sure. stuff like HT. i enjoy the more heavier side of the spectrum but not too much so that the rapping/ singing would be cancled out. but what id like to see is more songs like faint. where the bridge is really crazy, and the music is fast...thats what i like. but there needs to be songs that are mellower with good beats.
For the overall style of the core of the songs, i want them to sound like the jumpy hybrid theory songs. No more half-ass rapping for Mike. GOOD lyrics for the raps, like in "And One" and "Forgotten" and "A Place for My Head". Chester's lyrics should be totally different from what we've heard and not use the same damn overused vocabulary. How many times have I heard the word "ignored"? I want some choruses to sound like the "Forgotten" chorus, I want some choruses to sound like the "Papercut" chorus. I want a song that has screaming in the verse and the chorus, and rapping in the bridge, or just something with a pattern that switches things up, not like the same damn formula for every song. No more "Nobody's Listening" but no more "Don't Stay" either. Those songs don't blend anything. One's a crappy rap song, the other's a crappy rock song. I want a few melodic tracks like "Somewhere I Belong" or "In the End" too. by the way, if they could make another couple songs like "lying from you", I will always be a fan, no matter what the other songs sound like.
-song like htep , and sractshsolos as intro or outro will be tight, Sure the album need to bring mike's rapping back becuz the balance of the meteora wasn't good
i'd love to hear brad playin'the guitar.you know...some solos or an unplugged song. some rappin'from mike whould also be very nice... i'd like a heavy album with the madness of hybrid theory!..not much!
aside from the verses to most of the songs, meteora had two straight up rap songs: hit the floor and nobody's listening, and they both sucked. don't tell me there wasn't any rap on meteora.
Basiclly I want songs not to be different from HT....I want song to be like Crawling and Faint....so hard core, I want a creative song to be like BTH B)

yeh the rap was so lame and simple i didnt even realise it was rap [/b][/quote] You can't call it rap , they were only meant to be rap songs
I would like a good mix of Hybrid Theory and Meteora with more rock and somewhat less screaming. Kinda like numb and somewhere I belong
They should experiment with sound. Mike should play guitar more, if they did it would be cool if there was some distinction between lead an rythm. Phoenix should try to stand out instead of just playing the exact same notes as Brad. Forgotten is a good example of what Phoenix can do. Maybe do what they said and modle some songs after "Breaking the Habit " songs like "P5hing M3 @way" would be cool where everyone in the band is playing something... except Chester.
i want a second reanimation style but without the phone calls more electronic more instrumental i think another aspect to have a good album is making lyrics as simple as possible,.... i mean look at In The End.... you here loud and clearly it's about that in the end it doesnt matter while i had it hard to understand lyrics of Meteora what it was about except from "Somewhere I Belong"
What I would like to see on the next album . . . Better and darker lyrics, new song structures (less rap-verse, hard-rock-chorus), and a new guitar formula. I think Brad should pull off more riffs in the same time period and do more heavier parts during the verses (i.e. APFMH, Figure.09) For some reason, I kind of like Hit The Floor in spite of the fact that they tried to make another By Myself with a Forgotten chorus. The thing that hurts the song most is that it feels too empty and that doesn't work when the guitar parts are repeated 5,000,000 times in a three-minute song.
One song, everyone switch places, see if the band can play. Imagine Joe singing or Phoenix drumming. That's all. Also, they should do a love/hate song, a bit like With You.
