Against The Current - Strangers Again
These two new songs are not as catchy as the whole debut album, but the voice is still perfect. They tried to do things a bit differently, but not with the same results on these two songs. I hope this won't be a sophomore slump. Strangers Again is the best out of the two, I think. Still very electronic,with very little actual instrumentation, despite the last album being almost perfect. The lyrics are good, but not as sing-along ready. This band is still very much a Chrissy show. These songs are not exactly a copy-paste of the first album, but not much evolution. From these songs, I think the album won't go over 7,5/10, but the production is still very solid. I gave the debut a 9/10 from what I recall, only having minor problems in two songs.
