What Song Are You Listening To? Edition 9

Epica - Mother Of Light
Going back to Epica for a while. Love this one despite thinking that Simone's voice works better when less lyrical, but this is among their best ever songs. The growls on the back also give quite a punch along with the solid drumming and the well paced vocal interplay between Simone and the choir.

Epica - Avalanche
One of the songs I like best, which starts off very slowly, but with great symphonic elements. Simone's voice is very soothing in the beginning and the slow guitar gives it a good calm atmosphere before the drums kick in. The chorus is just a blast and the growls are not amazing, but at least consistent. I don't get why many Epica fans called this album Requiem For The Indifferent their worst ever, but of course it's nowhere near the quality of The Quantum Enigma and The Holographic Principle even though I better than The Divine Conspiracy and Design Your Universe.

I just couldn't think of a better word and the fact that Nickelback get's disrecpted all the time. I'm glad you like the album though.

Whenever I feel bad, I listen to this song.
It's cute and probably a perfect fit for wedding anniversary or something.
