    Agreed.

This dude in line behind me said it sucked, but he looked like someone who would enjoy the transformers movies.

Repulsion (1965) - 3.5/5 - It starts off very slowly and nothing really horrific happens in the first 45 minutes. Then it gets good and quite creepy. If the first 45 mins built a bit more of atmosphere I guess I would've liked it more. Polanski's direction here is brilliant though. I would say it's my second favorite in the Apartment Trilogy after Rosemary's Baby.

Movie 43- I can't fully comprehend what I've just seen.

Donnie Darko rewatch: 10/10 I think the concept is brilliant and the atmosphere just really makes it perfect.

Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva: 6.5/10
This needed way more puzzles than it had.

This is a great film. The ending... holy shit.

    I also watched...

The Man from Nowhere (2010) - 4.5/5 - What a great film. The almost perfect mix of balls out gory action and sentimental drama that doesn't come off as corny. Reminded me a bit of Leon: The Professional but I liked this a lot more!

This Is the End (2013) – Although hilarious and with an ingenious premise, the film felt like it got side-tracked too often in order to keep it interesting (especially in the second half). Rotten Tomatoes put it pretty well: Energetic, self-deprecating performances and enough guffaw-inducing humor make up for the flaws in This Is the End's loosely written script. 7/10

Phantasm (1979) - 3/5 - It had a great premise and had some genuinely scary/creepy moments. BUT I thought some of the acting/dialogues were just campy as fuck. And some of it came at the worst times lol... when shit was hitting the fan someone slipped in a terrible line and it totally killed the vibe. Also, towards the end it dragged quite a bit.

Overall it was a fun watch but if it had some better writing and hadn't dragged so much I would've enjoyed it more.

The Andromeda Strain (1971) 8/10- Really interesting and intelligent, I couldn't help but get the feeling through the whole thing that it was like a Kubrick flick but didn't quite live up. I know Robert Wise has similar style but it just felt like a lesser Kubrick film.

    Gravity - 10/10

That's art, people. Though the science wasn't perfect and there were some miraculous things going on. One of the few times I didn't care because it looked so good. Sandra is looking fine.

I totally agree with you. Sandra Bullock was way better in this movie than The Blind Side. Even the science detractors claimed to have enjoyed the movie.

There's also some cool symbolism going on. I saw it in 3D and really enjoyed myself. Totally enthralled in the experience.

Captain Phillips - 9.5/10 - A simplistic yet focused movie. From the second act to the final part of the movie, the thrills never end. Tom Hanks is fantastic in this movie, especially in the film's final sequences.

Man of Steel - 7/10 An enjoyable movie that had a strong first half hour, but suffered from too much (but very well done) action scenes in the latter half. Great performances from Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon & Russell Crowe. I'm defiantly excited for Batman vs. Superman know that I've actually seen Man of Steel. Oh, and a fantastic score by Hans Zimmer!

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Rewatch): Now that I've read the book the movie goes by so fast. I still love the movie all the same but the paces are just so different. I guess you can't really blame the movie considering 3 hours wasn't long enough to capture all the details. still a 9/10

    Cute.

    Borat:6/10
Funny, but a little too offensive for my liking.

"Gravity" - amazing. Really immersive movie due to the way it was put together and the acting was great. 5/5

Citizen Kane (1941) - 5/5 - Let's just say I understand why this is considered to be one of the greatest films ever made. This film is a piece of art!

Haha no I didn't mean it offended me directly. I just meant I don't like that type of humor all that much.
