The heart wants what the heart wants.
Spring Breakers - 4.5/5
I loved this movie. And I can totally understand why a lot of people hate it. It's marketed as some bullshit party movie like The Hangover, but what it actually is is a lot closer to an art-house film like Drive or maybe even a bit of The Tree of Life. It's a bizarre, exaggerated presentation of Generation Y, for better or for worse. It also wins the award for best use of a Britney Spears song in a film.
The Place Beyond the Pines - 3/5
This was decent in parts, but I thought there was a lot of unnecessary dragging on. There was an entire segment of the movie that I felt didn't even need to be included.
Motherfuck, needa see this movie but the internet ain't helping me out.
Yeah, for some reason it hasn't appeared online yet. But it's definitely something I'd recommend everybody watch, even if they end up hating it.
Wow, is Spring Breakers that good? Gotta see it sometime.
Battle Royale - 10/10.
Classic. I love it, and it gets better with every watch.
I just started reading the book.
Every time I see, it get's that lil' better,
Battle Royal, baby, write it a love letter.
Diez outta diez, it's the full number ten,
cannot wait to see this perfect movie again.
Love you baby.
I thought it was. But you could very well think it's the shittiest movie you've ever seen. It's one of those.
Yeah, they could left out the second act with Ray Liota and it wouldn't affect the story at all...
End of Watch - 2/5
That's usually how I feel after watching any movie with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Source Code was a great movie. One of the most underrated movies of 2011, to be honest
What was so terrible about End of Watch? I kind of enjoyed it.
Donnie Darko, helloooo?
Fuck man, that was a great movie. The ending ... wow.
Never cared to see it, and I don't really have any desire to do so now. It's hard to look passed all the shit movies he's been in. The Day After Tomorrow and Prince of Persia were both awful in their own right, and don't even get me started on Bubble Boy.
Donnie Darko is one of the best sci fi movies ever made
What about Zodiac?
Kick Ass (Or as I like to call it, Hit Girl): 4.5/5.
Can't wait for the sequel.
