    The Truman Show - 8/10

Awesome concept; less-than-spectacular execution. Absolutely loved Carrey's performance.

    Midnight Meat Train - 7/10

Gory fun with a twist at the end. However, it could do without a few big honking plot holes.

    9/10

J.J. Abrams scores again. Hurray for a Star Trek franchise aimed at a new generation.

The Da Vinci code - 5/10 (average) - It was ok, I've never seen it before so I was watching it at face value, probably wouldn't see it again, however I wouldn't say I got bored.

Watched in because I'm about to go and see Demons & Angels this Sunday.

    Ok lets see here:

The Count of Mounte Cristo - 7.5 /10

    Star Trek - 9/10
Great fun. I know nothing about the star trek world but I enjoyed it. Pretty funny, like corny funny. Fun to make fun of. Good action. Good plot. Loved seeing sylar in a different role. Good acting.

    Role Models - 6/10
Semi funny. Nothing wrong with it. Didn't get bored. Nothing that really stood out though

Terminator (new one, idk the full name) 8.5 / 10
Great action. I'm not a huge fan of Christian Bale so it prbly lost some points there. I think if I could remember the older movies better it'd receive a higher rating but I couldn't really see much of a big connection to the old movies that I was hoping for. Plus I was confused where in the terminator world the movie took place. I think my confusion hurt the score but I plan on rewatching the old ones so that'll prbly change my score. Defiantly a good watch though.

Kill Bill pt.1 - 6/10 - Great plot, classic Tarantino feel and was entertained most of the way through.

    Terminator (1984) - 8/10

A surprisingly good thriller. The appearance of the film may be a little out-of-date; however, the concept behind the film, as well as it's execution is definitely not. Linda Hamilton is brilliant as Sarah Connor, and carries the film very well on her shoulders. Arnold totally owns the role as the ruthless 'Terminator', and Michael Biehn is sufficient, although veering towards some unnecessary exaggerations in his mannerisms. James Cameron and his crew delivered magnificently, even with the constraints the crew was faced with.

    Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) - 9.5/10

Does this film even warrant a review? Simply put, this film will always be solidified as one of the best american action films ever conceived. Watch this film if you haven't. It's a classic.

    Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) - 7/10

Arnold Schwarzeneggar reprises his role as the Terminator in this third installment of the Terminator franchise. Basically, the film is somewhat sloppy, and it hardly reaches the caliber of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Nick Stahl replaces Edward Furlong as the now twenty-something 'hero' of the film: John Connor, and Jonathon Mostow replaces James Cameron as the director of the film. Unfortunately, the story written for the film contradicts certain facts already established in the first two films. Secondly, John Connor is portrayed as someone comparable to a frightened wet dog. However, if you gloss over these aspects, the film does have it's moments. Essentially, the film's last act is worth watching at the very least.

    Terminator: Salvation (2009) 6.5/10

I had high hopes for this film, when I discovered that it was in pre-production. Unfortunately, this film doesn't really deliver in my opinion after careful thinking. The audience is simply thrown into an extremely jarring setting, complete with a dark and gritty filter throughout the film that helps enhance the film in some occasions, and not really all that well in others. Questions that have been raised throughout the previous installments of the Terminator franchise are left still unanswered, aside from a few trivial subjects here and there. Hell, Marcus Wright's mini-plot is hardly fleshed out at all. Terminator Salvation also presents forth a rather confused direction - storywise. Is the film concentrating upon the events befalling John Connor? Is it about Marcus Wright? Or perhaps Kyle Reese? It's as if three possible concepts for the film were meshed together. It just felt very sloppy. Things and people just seemed as though they were dropped from the sky and explosions went off everywhere and that's about it. Consequently, despite these negative aspects, the film is littered with grand effects and action scenes, and is entact with a very solid cast, and easter eggs aplenty!

If you do not have an established knowledge of the Terminator story, do not see this film yet. You'd be in for a mess. Then again, I suppose the explosions and gunfire will carry it's confused audiences along throughout the film just fine?

Allegedly, two more films are on the way. Perhaps in order to view this film in a better light, it'd have to be seen as a trilogy in correlation with the next two installments. Until then..

    ..Hasta La Vista, Baby.

    Terminator Movies Spoiler Allert
I'm confused because I haven't seen them in a while.

The 1st movie is about the machines sending Arnold into the past to kill Sarah Connor right? And the humans send Kyle Reese to stop it, who actually becomes John Connor's father?

And then the 2nd is when the robots send another terminator to kill John Connor and the humans send their own machine to stop it, aka Arnold.

So because Kyle Reese is in the new Terminator, this is essentially a prequel to the original, only set in the future, right?

I just thought the movie should have ended with John Connor dying, skynet ending in that last explosion, and the 'prophecy filled. And then them sending Kyle back in time to insure he is born and sending Marcus back in time to stop the terminator in the second movie. I was under the assumption that Marcus was Arnold in the second movie.

But I guess since you said there are supposed to be 2 more movies that explains why they didn't end anything...

Kyle Reese becomes John's father. So yeah, in a way it is a prequel as well as a sequel. The story of the series is pretty much one big paradox.

    Insomnia 2/5

    Expected better from Chris Nolan.

    Pulp Fiction 3/5

I don't know what to think about this movie. The direction, acting & dialogs are top notch. But as far as the plot line goes... eh. I was left confused at how certain plot points came together.

    Swingers 2.5/5

    Anchorman 4/5
I like Will Farrell a little now.

    The Usual Suspect 4.5/5
    Jaw dropping shit.

    X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2.5/5
Talk about let down! It's nothing more than a flashy action flick, and a bad one at that. I expected a badass Wolverine not some cheesy 'vengeance' bullshit. Really disappointing.

    Up (10/10)

Fun, cute, enjoyable, touching, sad, depressing...one of the best movies I have ever seen, in terms of animation. Worth every penny and worth every minute of my time. If you get emotional during movies, bring a box of tissues to this one. It's a tear jerker.
