well I was never under the impression of it being an atheist documentary, I just pictured it picking fun at all the different religions and showing how each one is equally stupid as an idea. I was looking for something as more of a, don't make fun of other religious because yours is just a ridicules kinda thing.

But like I said, he left his interviews no room to speak and just downright criticized everything everyone said. I knew he was an atheist but I was hoping for a less biased and negative view but clearly I misunderstood the concept.

Taken - 7/10 - Cool movie, great actor, but nothing that completely stood out from any other action flick

    Quantum of Solace.

It's no Casino Royale, but still a pretty awesome movie. Who knew that James Bond would kick ass now.

    Watchmen (2009)
    8/10

I saw this film without any prior knowledge as to what the story was all about. That being said, I thought that the film was quite the ride, but I can't make a final judgement until I read the original graphic novel.

    Blade (1998)
    7.5/10

Gritty, dark, and mysterious. I never had time to myself for a viewing of the first Blade film. Quite the dated movie, but it's still very edgy in comparison to some of the current films that are out. The mood of this film is perfect in correlation with the story, and the protagonist, Blade. However, the plot holes in this movie are unfortunately aplenty (Deacon Frost and his gang of half-breed partners take out the entire Vampire Council? Really?..), of which takes away from truly enjoying the movie without cringing at certain aspects of the storyline execution.

    Blade 2 (2002)
    8/10

Great sequel. Wesley Snipes returns as Blade in strict form, more badass than ever. Slick action sequences, with an effective (albeit awkward) usage of CG meshed within the fight scenes. Also, you've gotta love the concept behind the story as well; Blade joins forces with his sworn enemy to fight a greater enemy, and show's both sides who they're really '"fucking with". In addition, it's quite a treat to see Luke Goss, Ron Perlman(Hellboy), and Donnie Yen (Iron Monkey, Ip Man) in action.

    Blade; Trinity (2004)
    6/10

I haven't seen this film since it's release year. In essence? A disappointment. The concept of this film isn't terrible, and the first quarter of the film plays out fairly well. Everything makes sense at this point; Blade is finally discovered and put into the public eye's attention, Whistler is dead, concluding with Blade surrendering to the humans. The audience has not seen Blade this defeated before; it's an effective start to the film. However, once Ryan Reynolds, and Jessica Biel make their entrance, the film literally starts to fall to pieces. Blade is basically subject to a supporting role rather than a leading role in his own movie. The entire franchise suddenly becomes very kid-friendly with the inclusion of this film, and any dark lustre that the previous films managed to establish is thrown to the side. Not to mention, the final showdown of the film is extremely anti-climactic. It's Blade vs Dracula for goodness' sake. For what it's worth Blade:Trinity is a good and fun popcorn flick, but as a Blade film it's a slap to the face.

Quite, laughable really, as the writer for this film is David Goyer: the writer for both Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. Makes me wonder as to how much of the positive input into the Batman films were from Goyer as opposed to the films' director: Christopher Nolan.

Hopefully the franchise doesn't end here and continues on with a capable and properly executed sequel. The franchise doesn't need a reboot.

    Bolt

It's not on the levels of Pixar's work, but it was still an enjoyable movie. Plus, I want my own Rhino the hamster.

That movie is one of my favourites of all time, because, to me, it's the only one I've seen to date that accurately portrays today's teenagers. :) And Ellen Page is amazing.

It was actually pretty good and I found myself smiling through it, I think it's better than the series is. So, 7/10

    W. 6/10

It wasn't as accurate as it claims to be, but Josh Brolin nailed President Bush's accent and mannerisms and, despite not liking Bush at all, it gave me a new-found respect for him.

    Watchmen - 9/10

I was very impressed. One of the major complaints I got was the naked blue man, but in all honesty I wasn't disturbed at all... people really over exaggerated it! I think most of the genius comes from the novel however, which I've never read. But I can understand if it didn't live up to the novel at all, but being someone who has never read it, and doesn't read graphic novels, I now intend to pick this one up simply because of the movie.
