    The Langoliers.

I got it as a present from my stepdad for christmas and to be honest, although parts of the film were good, the film was largely dissapointing. Even for a 1995 TV film it was pretty bad and not worthy of being a Stephan King adaptation. The only highlight really was Kate Maberly's remarkable acting skills.

    5/10

    I Am Legend (3/10)

I'm sorry but I hated this movie, lol. It did nothing for me. I understood it but for all the hype, it just came up way too short for me. I felt like I was watching a really bad mixture of 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead and I Robot. All three good movies but I was not happy with how this one turned out. Maybe I'm missing something here? lol

The new Hulk movie that is being done is a total remake. Anyways, I kind of watched Blades of Glory last night after HMV closed. It was alright.

Read the book. Infinitely better than the movie.

And to the guy who loves all the Marvel movies... are you a big fan of the comics? Because as a huge comic fan (not nerd, trust me  ) I for the most part didn't like any of the Marvel movies.

DC on the other hand, has got it going on. :)

Blades of Glory (bought on xbox 360 marketplace) - 7.5/10

What a strange, strange movie. If you like Will Farrell (and I do) this movie definitely warrants at least a rental for his performance alone. It had some truly genius moments (although some were just bizarre or lame lol) and it made me laugh a ton last night. Decent movie.

    The Golden Compass

Utterly destroyed the entire feel of the books, turned it into some totally ridiculous kids movie.
    Very disapointed.

    I Know Who Killed Me.

It was absolutely horrible. I kept watching because I expected some cool twist or ending, but it was all so predictable (and crappily acted).

    Any Given Sunday

    8/10

    Director: Oliver Stone

Another movie about American Football and it's players. No, not at all, the movie follows the team 'Sharks' and their progression and struggles that teams face. So it seems the movie is all about the game, but Oliver Stone has created that as a mask for what the movie is really about. Time is the main theme of the movie and about how we don't think about it and how sometimes we get caught up and only realize when it's too late. The movie has been very carefully written (John Logan) and structured to give it the big finale which is delivered with enormous amounts of emotion from Al Pacino.

The movie could have easily been 20 minutes longer and featured more of the games they have played so that the audience could get a feel for the team and connect with the movie. The frequent use of NFL terminology and for people who don't understand this (i actually understand it) it can become confusing in some scenes.

Brilliant movie and definitely one you shouldn't miss.
