It's all up to personal preference Joe. Both phones are very very good in terms of products. It comes down to the little things such as screen size, appearance/design, build quality, camera quality, and customization. You choose which one's you need more.

The little things such as speed are very minimal on a macro scale.

Take a look at all these real home screens. http://mycolorscreen.com/

That's just one of the reasons I love Android.

iOS is a good OS in its own right though, I just prefer customization and access.

You know, that's always an argument I hear. "Oh Andriod is more customizable than iOS, you can't do anything on it". Honestly, I'd rather cut the shit and get to what my phone can do. Everything is out on one homescreen plain and simple, whatever I need to access is one click away. So yes, if you like you prefer looks and customization over efficiency, stay with Android. I used to own a HTC phone (I forget the model name) and I must say it is fun to customize, and it really does look good, but I feel I can do things quicker on my iPhone.

I don't need that much customization. I love how simple Apple is and it's beautiful on its own. The software use, as you stated, is the best it can be. Customizing would probably lower its productivity. Plus, the iPhone itself is the most beautiful phone on the market, and for me, that's a big deal. I think the look and construction of the phone is just as important as the software design.

I got the belkin grip candy case but I've decided to keep the case off as long as I'm super duper anal about my phone. Carefully putting it down and putting it in my pocket, never bringing it for dangerous activity, etc. I'll use the case when I need to.

That case looks really nice actually. I decided against the bulky "drop proof" cases and went with the Speck Candyshell in black.

EDIT: Oops... Didn't mean to make the photo so large. Here's a link to it instead: [thumb]http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh561/TINFOIL1025/image_zps48acd6b5.jpg[/thumb]

I have the Incipio Overmold case for my iPhone 5 and like it a lot. It's an extremely tight fit so the phone is nice and secure.

Just use [thumb] tags. I did it for you

And the case is nice. It's one of the best cases out there for a decent price.

I tried the speck and it scratched way too easily. I know, better the case than the phone but it was pretty banged up after a few days use.

It's why I chose the belkin. It's thin and uses a silicon that's smooth and doesn't scratch.

Ah, that's how you do it. Thanks Zane.

My case has really unnoticeable and small scratches, as thick as hair that you can only see in bright light. It really doesn't bother me much. I'm in love with the size and feel of the case, which is why I have it.

Well, it's all well and good if you don't like it but personally I find Android 4.2 Jelly Bean to be amazing.

The DNA is really, really good. Plus it has Beats Audio, which could count as a plus. But I have the GS3 and I honestly can't say one bad thing about. Their both pretty good, the DNA has slightly higher specs. Depends what kind of phone you want, but I'd stay safe and go with the GS3 even if you wasn't looking into it, it's crazy good, one of the best pieces of technology i've ever owned. The US version has less RAM though, so it might not be as good as the one I own.

Up to you but the DNA is really, really good.
