Sorry I broke the rules.
Cursing is a lot different then obsessing over a band member's looks. With all due respect, we do not want to become what the LPMB has become. You go there you have the "Chester Has A Sexy Ass v.285486886" thread in Linkin Park chat, when the focus of a Linkin Park fan should ALWAYS and forever be about the music and not how Chester's butt fits in a pair of jeans.
We are jerks about this because we are the only fan site that has not allowed teenies for 5 years running. Our focus here is the music, and never the looks and we take that very seriously. So my apologies if I came off as a you know what.
In some respects, I was extremely nice to you because ask around..usually we ban teenies with no questions asked or no warning. With you, I gave you an opportunity to see what you did wrong.
I appreciate you not banning me right on the spot. This is the only forum that I enjoy getting on. Every other one is so obsessed with looks it is not even funny. Im really not a teenie bopper. I didnt read the rules thoroughly and for that I apologize. Now back to the music...
I'm going to do something a moderator rarely does and tell you that I was wrong.
Sure, you broke the rules, but reading back on the way I moderated in this thread I'm not very pleased in myself. Granted I think I could've been a lot nicer in my confrontations concerning you finding Chester hot because you were truly not that bad. In fact to an untrained eye your Chester quip almost comes off sarcastic.
At least you weren't like 'rotflmaomgchazspenisissohuge' like some of the teenies are here, and for that I respect you.
My apologies for being <censored> of the year with those last few posts. I'm not usually like that here, I guess just feeling sick today (I went home from work today early ) made me a little grumpy.
I cannot stand ppl that come on here(or any message board) and act like a 12year old little teenie. You should never like a band just for their looks. It is disrespectful to the band. I hope you feel better.
Big hug everyone.
Alright, well now that that is over with.
How about that Best Buy performance?
Typically it's because we ban them immediately, and then replying to their post jumping all over them would be pointless because they wouldn't be able to see it
Haha I'm supporting you more by the second.
back to the music...
Back to the performance. I think they did a great job. Chester's voice sounds even better. I think they are definatly improving overall.
I like it a lot.
I gurantee you if those 3 tracks are from AOL Sessions, they will be on iTunes with the rest of the AOL Sessions they have available.
I'm still curious what the secret bonus tracks are going to be through iTunes. They have to be unreleased songs held off the MTM record. Hiding live versions just seems stupid, that's nothing worth keeping secret, but brand new song titles? That's definitely worth it.
I will be pissed if I'm buying 3 effing copies of this CD for bonus material. I hate stealing but it might be worth it.
...But they aren't from AOL Sessions, as shown by the fact the video they posted was a performance exclusively for Best Buy, and not part of the AOL Sessions performances.
so how many different versions are there, now?
- Minutes To Midnight (Clean/Explicit)
- MTM Special Edition CD/DVD (Clean/Explicit)
- MTM at Best Buy w/Exclusives
- MTM on iTunes w/Secret Bonus Exclusives
and I believe that iTunes usually releases the AOL Sessions to download/purchase, too, don't they?
It's not so much different versions as it is "Buy this from here and get free shit." and you choose between the alternatives.
So two versions, with multiple add bonuses depending where you buy it from.
if that's how they are going to perform the song live...
well, they better start practicing a bit.
Actually, they are going to play 6 songs at the AOL session.
3 new songs and 3 older ones.
The performance sounded awesome. Chester sounded great. Did anyone notice that Joe's getting a bit... big? He used to be skinny, like me, and he got a bit bigger, and he looked normal. Now he's... bigger.
