i dont have windows media player, my mac has quicktime
I guess these are the songs for AOL cant wait to hear them
this is getting really frustrating... i already ordered the album on itunes with lptv but now there is going to be a version at best buy with the aol sessions
So does that mean these live songs will be on the pre-ordered CD from LP's online store? And are these different from the 3 bonus tracks that will be on iTunes?
that performance sucked..in my opinion..brad was just like standing there, and they were all just like looking down..nobody smiling or nething lol....i donno something was wrong..they all looked strange, and like..depressed or somethin...
he was probably bored and was browsing the internet during the performance
because there's no screaming in What I've done ... I'm 100% sure he can scream..and better (chceck sommer sanitarium). what is important, his singing skills are much better now, so I can imagine he wants to show what he can do, not just scream
I loved this performance, it was more intimate, raw, that drum beat...it was obvious that this sound is sampled, so I don't understand those reactions...Breaking the habit has also a drum machine loop, it's just more hidden behind all those other sounds. and brad still wears his headphones
Wow, I have to agree...not too impressed...maybe because it's AOL. No one likes AOL. No one looked energetic at all, maybe it's the new approach to their stage presence...who knows. I was a bit scared Chester wasn't able to hit those high notes at first and had to "slide" to get them. Let's hope this isn't the future of LP.
Have you heard "QWERTY"?
NO NO NO. How hard is it to understand that if it's not advertised in the LP online store, YOU DON'T GET IT? The 3 bonus tracks are BEST BUY EXCLUSIVES, meaning you get them at BEST BUY.
I have a feeling the 2 bonus tracks from iTunes will also be AOL Sessions songs, whether it's 2 of these 3 or 2 of the other 3 songs they performed.
Brad's not doing anything because...there isn't anything to do for him at the end.
And Stik: There's no stage presence because there's no audience. This is a rehearsal for them.
@ everyone bitching about this performance.
It was one performance not up to their standards, so what? People forget that LP aren't super magic guys who can give a billion percent in every damn performance.
You misunderstood. I meant that it sounded odd in the beginning. I didn't mean that it sounded odd because Rob wasn't playing the beginning drumbeat. I meant that the beginning just sounded too odd for me.
And Chester being unable to scream? He sounded great vocal-wise, and even in the chorus he seemed like he was on the verge on screaming, but he is unable to. This isn't a heavy song you know.
Understood, there'd be more energy if there was a hole shitload of people, as usual. As to judging their future performances...it's all about first impressions. Granted, we can't really judge till they do it live in front of an audience...this didn't look very promising.
You got me
actually, many DJs (including DJ Cheapshot) have laptops on stage as part of their rig...however, someone pointed out to me that it kinda looks like Joe has MSN messenger open, lol
Am I the only one to think it's not that bad actually? I'm very critical of live performances and this one is alright to me.
