Minutes To Midnight in my opinion, I'd personally say it's one of the top 100 rock albums of all time, makes Living Things sound like a demo tape. Anyone remember when Linkin Park put up the album cover on their website? With the What I've Done violin loop in the background before it was released as the first single? Good times.
Agreed, just the resonances that came from those violins.......... sent chills down my spine. Come on guys! This poll isn't going to vote for itself!
I was thinking of Voting for MTM but when I saw that this thread was created by you,I voted for Living things.
Pew pew OT, personally I'd say Meteora, despite it's godawful lyrics, it has some nice instrumentation and isn't as bad as most people make out.
Meteora gets a good amount of hate, but it's somewhat understandable. I still chose Minutes because I feel it's right behind ATS in terms of quality. It's a fantastic album for the band and overall a great rock album and is usually said to be the band's worst album.
Proooooooobably Living Things. Minutes to Midnight is wrongly regarded as a bomb when it was a pretty important and fairly successful turning point for the band, whereas Living Things was seemingly forgotten months after it was released.
Well, Meteora is getting too much hate and Living Things lately too. However I voted for Hybrid Theory. You, yes exactly YOU won't agree with that which proves that HT is indeed underrated.
Uhm, yes. It's usually not agreed that Hybrid Theory is underrated because it's very well liked. I'd say it generally has a fair amount of fans for what the album is, but that's my opinion I guess.
This. But, since I couldn't vote Reanimation, I said Minutes To Midnight. I think it's thought of too often as the transition to A Thousand Suns. It's more than just a stepping stone, there are some really good songs on this album.
It's obvious that ATS is under appreciated by non-hardcore fans, but I really like Living Things, and think even this site doesn't appreciate it enough. It has a little bit of everything from each album to offer for a fan of any of the previous four.
I almost went with Living Things because of all the crap that the album gets as a whole, but with that I immediately over-looked Minutes To Midnight. So, I guess I kinda proved my vote to myself there.
Especially considering that the 2nd half of LT is basically ATS, Part 2, an album he really seems to enjoy.
