i think it's a mix of the first 3 parts, like on hybrid theory. i hope the new record will be like hybrid theory, 12 songs where you'd like to listen to every one again and again. but i also think they will never beat their first record, it's just too great... Hahhah. They said its more heavier and darker then anything theyve done before, which is what I wanted.
Same here, that'd be awesome if they got heavier. But if they did, I hope they still kept their melodic sound...thats what I really liked about them.

ggggggrrrrrrrrrrr to teenies... Welcome to the boards and I'm sure that it'll be heavier and stuff...I mean Chester says that "Pantera-style" riffs are being used...who knows???
I am behind anything and everything LP does. I have never been dissapointed with their work. Every single song they have done is excellent, and their worst song (which is still excellent) is better than the best song of ANY BAND!! Rock on LP!!
I voted for industrial, but all I meant by that was that it would be cool to hear more industrial guitar and drums, but I still want Chaz to keep doing what he's doing. And another thing, in the Xero demos, Mike raps a whole lot faster than in Hybrid Theory. He's awesome, but I know he has more skills to bring to the table. He plays guitar, cuts, and piano too. And I'd like to see heavier sampling and more scratching. And I know no one wants a guest appearance, but still, wouldn't it be cool if Dr. Nner from Deadsy came in and did some keying, and Wayne Static do some back vocals. And they should update to 7 or 8 string guitars. And ghost zombie robot mutant samurai flymen soldiers with flags would be cool Last edited by Xero_Soldier2003 at Nov 6 2002, 05:55 PM
I hope it's a lot mroe rock then like reanimation, i mean i loved reanimation and all, but i like the rock soooooo much more, like i remember the first time i head linkin park, i was watching tv and saw their video of 1 step closer and was like holy ####, went downstairs and d/l every song i could find by them, ever since that i knew they were gonna kick some ass, and so far they have, even if meteora is half as good as there other albums, is gonna rule, and be in my cd player for months and months
Hey guys, everything you hoped for is gonna be given to you in this new album. Most of the entertainment people are saying it will bring much more success than Hybrid Theory. I think the fans are gonna get something worth the wait. I mean, if LP is doin a little bragging about how good their new stuff is, its gonna be good.
