That's so true. I remember reading the un-cut version for the very first time and getting to the part towards the end where Beverly has relations with the whole club. I was thinking "What the fuck" I'm still thinking it. I mean, with the age and everything.
Yeah, but I always thought of Tim Curry as a scary man as well, and not just because he played It. Whenever I see him he reminds me of a big old evil cat with that smile of him.
He MUST be related to the Chesire Cat from Alice In Wonderland. @Gan: I know what you're saying. Pre-teens each having a turn on their female friend of the same age isn't exactly something I wanted to be reading about. Makes you wonder what fucked up shit goes on in Stephan King's head...
Funny you should say that, that's kind of a fear I have as well. It seems like every month or so I end up having some Dawn of the Dead or 28 Days Later, zombie-apocalypse nightmare. I had a fear of dogs until about 4 or 5 years ago. I think it stems from a childhood experience where I was almost mauled by a pitbull. That was scary.
He's a bit like Jack Nicholson and Jack Black in that you just don't want them to smile because they look like the sons of Satan and the Grinch when they do.
I basically forced myself to be around dogs a lot more. Plus I have a friend who owns a pitbull that is a great dog, which definitely helped me get over that.
Oh...I only know 1 dog, it's the dog of Maxime's dad, he's sweet, but so annoying. He keeps slapping you with his paw if you don't scratch his belly. =.=
I was kind of scared of big(ger) dogs for a while because I used to live near this guy who threatened to set his rottweiler on me all the time.
I'm so glad someone else has this fear. Besides that, sleeping. Yes I know. I like to sleep, but every now and then I'll be awake all night because I don't want to fall asleep. No, it's not a Freddy Krueger fear, I just have the fear that I won't wake up. Which leads into my fear of death.
My dog does that xD But its really cute when she does it because she gives you these huge puppy eyes.
Hmmm....I'm afraid of earthquakes + I'm afraid of people I don't know personally and come too close to me, I feel threatened..
Pets that are bigger than me or that they are just as big. This mainly applies to dogs. I always feel like they have the upper hand and that I have no control over the situation.
I'm afraid of voicing my opinions outside of the Internet world because I don't have plenty of time to think them out and say exactly what I want.
