Really im not gonna start debate about my favourite band...
    Facts are:

    Song writing: Mike > Chester
    Singing: Mike < Chester

I really think Chester has a dope voice(especially when his in studio) I think he can sing about anything with his voice and it still sounds good(Blackout "Rapping")
His screaming is awesome, and his soft singing is awesome.
But really if he did a song only with screaming that would be dope.
Even when he only sings with his slow hearfull voice its dope. As long as they still use Chester as a vocalist and Mike in most of the writing proces, i cant see how the album can fail in that since.

Oh and btw. Fort minor > DBS

Regarding the whole Mike/Chester thing going on in the last page. I completely acknowledge that Mike is the backbone of Linkin Park. He's the producer, rapper, backup vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and keyboardist. He does so many different things and brings in so many different elements. Linkin Park wouldn't be Linkin Park with the absence of Mike or Chester. They both play crucial roles. Chester provides the raw passion and energy. I've never thought he was overly involved in the behind-the-scenes work beyond providing vocals, but that's what he does, and in my opinion does it very well.

In all fairness though, those aren't the only two defining members of the band. Joe, while he may have had a more subtle role in MTM era, he still directs all the music videos, and works with Mike on all of the synths and scratching elements. Also, Rob is a kickass drummer. It doesn't always show on the studio songs, but live (most notably during solos), he can fucking rip on those drums.

My true love for Linkin Park, admittedly, lies in Chester's voice. I've never heard a vocalist I can say I like more than Chester Bennington. However, it's the combination of all the different elements the band members bring that put them over the top. You can't say it's just one or the other.

Completely agree. And I just wanted to add in...Mr.Hahn is ALL the cool sounds of Linkin Park that you like so much. No matter from HT to MTM any sounds from synths are all created from Hahn and Mike. It's his job to create the unique synths and though in live performances you don't see him actually creating the sounds let's just agree that the sounds don't come from nowhere.

I only slightly disagree with this. To me, it's Mike that makes the band for me. I love his all of his raps in every song. But Chester is right up there. LP wouldn't be where they are today without him.

Creatively, Mike is leagues ahead of Chester, however, having said that, Chester's singing is amazing. Truth is you need all 6 members to make Linkin Park. Each member adds something unique to the band and I honestly don't think any one of them could be replaced should any of them choose to leave the band (which I hope never happens).

Well like I said, I completely acknowledge that Mike is the backbone of the band. What do you get if you take the Mike Shinoda out of Linkin Park? Essentially, Dead By Sunrise. And LP is leaps and bounds better than DBS. Don't get me wrong, I love Mike and appreciate his talent far beyond most musicians.

I just think Chester's got the most badass voice ever. :p
