The lyrics don't quite fit with the story, but the tone of the song definitely reflects Abe's emotional state and internal struggles throughout. No matter what has happened Abe is still helpless to really protect that which he cares for. As for the video itself, yeah, it's action-packed. It's harder to make an exciting and engaging music video built with footage from dialogue scenes.
Damn I wanna check it out, but I promised to myself that I'm not going to listen to the album/songs before I get the CD...
Looks like it's been removed by Yahoo for some reason. Surely not another fuck up? It's been replaced with a YouTube clip anyway.
Yes sir! It's fucking hard man, every day I'm thinking about giving in, but then my angel-on-your-shoulder-guy comes by to remind me of the challenge. Hard knock life man, hard knock life.
I was gonna see "Vampire Hunter" anyway because Winstead. Seems like a Linkin Park song is on the soundtrack
I'm in love with all the album... But LOST IN THE ECHO and POWERLESS are definitely the songs I'm in love with. This promotional video is really great. I wasn't giving a penny for this movie before watching this video, and now I really wanna see it! EDIT: btw, the video on tha main post is down. Here's a link working http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajhTqA3qZYI
The answer is no: plugging in an LP song into a trailer for another fucking vampire movie does NOT make me want to see it .
The director/producer of this movie 'Timur Bekmambetov' said on Twitter that there'll be a new clip for Powerless coming out tomorrow. via Troll Hard in the Piledriver thread Roughly translates to: "There will be a video tomorrow" Plus I know it's not a credible source but his Wikipedia page lists 'Linkin Park - Powerless' under Music Videos he's done.
