I still remember way 2010 where "The Catalyst" was premiered on BBC1 Radio with Zane Lowe.. Wow! It's been 4 years already. Was BURN IT DOWN premiered also on BBC1, Right? or am I wrong?

There is. He is not using it for anything complex though. There are a couple of "double-punches" from the bass drum in that clip.

It's interesting, this is the way someone who is really used to a double-pedal would play. Like someone who had to use it just a little bit, also on a song like this. But Mike probably wrote the part anyway.
