Dude probably meant 4 hours since he Tweeted it out at 5:04pm here, which is Pacific time. The guys also probably release new info based on Pacific time due to the fact that they basically live in Los Angeles, so I wouldn't be surprised if it means the single and pre-order comes out at actual midnight here (3 am for you guys in EST).
I don't see why iTunes would update around 12 am EST, which is what they always do, and then add The Hunting Party 3 hours later. What would be the point of that? I think it's pretty clear the guy on Twitter is just guessing. They aren't bad guesses though.
Sorry for not posting this earlier (I was working on something for AltWire), but I wrote Adam and this was confirmed to be completely false. There's not going to be any iTunes pre-order or special song release tonight. That's why we never tweeted it because it wasn't legit.
This guy can't seem to make up his mind. First tonight and now tomorrow night. WTF? And there you have it. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
But why would IHeartRadio put up a place holder for a single today if there wasn't going to be a single for it soon? Well, I guess it was just confirmed as not being TONIGHT but could still come soon.
