2 500GB, 3 250 GB, 1 80 GB. And not even connected to any of my computers, I've got another 80 GB and a 200 GB. Although, to be fair, the 2 500s are in a RAID 1 array, so I still only have 500 GB of usable space, but my shit's backed up on a 2nd drive automatically. My e-penis is really big. I win
People and their computers scare me sometimes. Though I wouldn't mind a 500GB hard drive to play with...
Keaton if you decided to install windows and you haven't done it yet, basically what you want to do is boot from the Windows CD, select install, f8 to agree... depending on your partitions, my recommendation is if the OS is XP, make a 15gb partition and install it on there, then make a separate partition to put everything else on. Then if windows screws up in the future, you don't lose that extra storage, you lose the 15gig partition. If Vista, make it a 25 gig partition. When you install it'll be pretty straightforward, have your key handy as well as all the drivers you'll need for your system, if it came with driver discs, great. Basically once you've installed, you're going to be on your fresh desktop. Don't install ANYTHING until you install your chipset drivers. If you don't install your chipset drivers FIRST, then you might run into problems down the road. You can get the chipset drivers from the computer manufacturer's website. Once you install the chipset drivers, reboot and you can go ahead and install your network and from there, grab the latest drivers for everything off their manufacturer's website.
