Well...the problem that existed with iTunes still exists today...I can't access the music store because of that damn program "Bad Apple."
Tried reinstalling, deleting, adding, every combination, registry, EVERYTHING! Can't get the music store to work! Please help...

Use a software firewall or do you have a router?

    Both

Both. I have Zone Alarm for software and a hardware router but I think a hardware firewall is different from a normal router (which I have), am I correct?

Disabled Zone Alarm. It hung for a longer time before displaying the same error message.

    Don't think so

    1. i don't think so
    2. how do I find out.
    3. I'm definately sure this program called "Bad Apple" (www.badfruit.com) screwed the music store up. Not any firewalls because I haven't changed any settings on the firewall recently.

    2. Windows Firewall has been and is currently disabled.
    3. The plug-in, entitled Bad Apple, is no where to be found on my computer. It is disabled on my firewall, the program is removed from "add and remove programs," the program is not enabled under startup, I deleted the empty folder of Bad Apple in Program Files, etc.
