I'm into pretty much every genre and sub-genre of rock except for heavy metal and some punk. I listen to a little bit of rap/hip-hop on the side, plus a tiny bit of pop. Lately, I've found myself loving the acoustic sound of Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer. Also, the sound of bands like Rooney who go back to their roots for musical inspiration. It's great stuff.
Lets see, nu-metal, classic rock (AC/DC, Van Halen, Ozzy, all them), some punk. no country, pop, or rap will enter my bedroom door. ever.
I like: Heavy Metal (Megadeth, Pantera, etc) Hardcore (Hatebreed, etc) Nu Metal (Disturbed, Linkin Par, Mudvayne, etc) Hard Rock (Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, etc)
I listen to Rock, Alternative, Metal and Classic (I´m sorry, but I love Heydn!) But I hate Pop ( everything sounds equal ) and Punk!
I like: Nu-Metal (Linkin Park, Evanescence etc.) Alternative Rock (TRUSTcompany, Audioslave, etc.) Pop-Punk (Yellowcard, Blink 182) Punk (Thrice, Slick Shoes) Emo (the only two emo artists I listen to are Thursday and Taking Back Sunday) Metal (Ill Nino, A Perfect Circle) Adult Alternative (Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind) Hip-Hop (The Roots, Outkast) Ska (Goldfinger, Less Then Jake) Thats all I can think of. This is what I put these bands in, so if you dont think they should be in some category I dont really care.
i Like Nu-metal,rap-metal,punk, some pop punk, rap, hip hop,r&b,alternative rock, ska, adult alternative, and a lil bit of old school. im not really in to oldies and 80's rock and stuff...no country eaither.
