You see, that's the thing about books made into movies. You always have high expectations for them, but once you see them it's a big disappointment. I haven't watched it yet, though, so I shouldn't be this negative, but I'm more than sure that the movie in my head is only 100 times better than this one.

I think you will end up being pleasantly surprised. All the actors in this movie were true to the vision I had for them, even Jessica with her annoying voice.

My Favorite part in the movie:

Bella: "Do you wear contacts? Your eyes were black the last time I saw you, and now they're like.. golden."
Edward: "Yeah.. uh.. It's.. It's the florescence." *quickly walks away*

I dunno why but I lol'd at that.

Anyway, I enjoyed the movie.. all the characters seemed to fit for me, but I just wish I had seen more Alice. :( The movie was way too rushed though it seemed.

Okay, im going to give a counterpoint opinion here: I thought that this movie was hilariously awful.

First off, the glittering was insanely bad. He looked like a disco ball. And there was a shimmering noise that went along with it. Seriously, what the heck?

I also thought that the acting was bad. I mean, during Charlie and Bella's fight, Charlie sounded completely bored. Also, I never got any chemistry between any of the characters. It seemed very fake.

Even as an adaption of the book, though, this movie failed. They messed with a lot of things that they should not have. For instance, they completely removed Carlisle talking about his time with the Vulturi. Also, none of the characters seemed to really develop. Things happened to suddenly. I mean, look at Bella and Edwards relationship. It was literally:

    Bella: OMG YOUR A VAMPIRE!
Edward: I MUST SHOW YOU MYSELF IN THE SUNLIGHT

    *glittering*

    Bella: OMG IM IN LOVE!

Yeah, not great character development there.

Although, I have to say, the ending in the ballet studio was well done. Also, any movie that includes a Muse song gets points with me. Still, I didnt like it.

I'm waiting until there is a good copy on the Internet or the DVD release to watch the movie. I was going to go see it but based on the reviews I've read and the scenes I've already seen on various sites, it looks so bad.

I've read that Twilight took in $70 million opening weekend alone. Amazing, since I think the huge draw is because of Robert Pattinson playing Edward because he's lyke s0 hawt. Be that as it may, I also want a good movie to go along with that hotness and this isn't what I had in mind.

Yeah, seeing it in theaters was weird. The entire place was filled with annoying teenage girls who screamed whenever anything happened. Heck, they screamed when the lights went down, and then were upset when trailers started playing instead of twilight.

That is one reason I went at midnight, there was barely any teenagers.

I wasn't disappointed though, but that trailer for the unborn freaked me out.

I thought the movie was okay. But then again I thought the book was pretty good, so I might be a little biased.

I loved and hated the trailer for The Unborn.

I hated it because, as much as I'd rather not admit, it freaked me out.

I loved it because it gave me a reason to hold Anna close to me for about 30 minutes.

    Overall a good experience.

Glad I am not the only one. When I left the theater at 2:15 am by myself, I ran to my car.

Am I the only one who noticed there's no 'I' in Twilight in the title of this thread?
