Nice to see the rest of LPA finally catch up to me. Ahem. http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39183&highlight=twenty pilots Pseudo-hipster bragging aside, it looks like these two are finally blowing up in the mainstream. "Stressed Out"'s growing rotation on pop radio is giving them the hit I thought "Holding On to You" should have been two years ago; also incredibly skyrocketing "Vessel" to the US ITunes top album chart top 10 almost three years after its release. I predict they'll be to 2016 what Imagine Dragons were to 2013, with "Blurryface" selling huge throughout the year while "Ride" and another single (maybe "The Judge"?) also become huge pop hits. The key difference between them being twenty one pilots have already proven to not be a one-album wonder.
The track is actually pretty deep. One of their better songs, that's for sure. Too bad their new fanbase is so fucking cringworthy.
This song is amazing, one of their bests yet. Can't wait to hear other songs on the soundtrack (especially the studio version of the Bohemian Rhapsody cover by P!atD. The live version sounded fantastic).
He likes Heavydirtysoul!!! I would say that's my favorite too. Chester and I have something in common i think we should date
One friend recommended 21 Pilots to me as I showed him new LP and he found it very similar to 21 Pilots, which I agree. He said I could listen to Heathens and Stressed Out and I liked those two (in fact, I had already heard on the radio as it was massively played, but dind´t know those songs to be from them). I could see some similiarities with new LP in the chipmunk sounds 21Pilots also use and in terms of rhythm it´s not so different. Another band a lot of people on Youtube said is very similar to new LP is The Chainsmokers, but that one I still have to listen to.
Not sure how to feel about them, but the 2nd song is way better imo, the first one sound more heavy but that awful middle section/bridge absolutely killed the song for me.
I'm interested to see where this concept story goes. The writing on these two songs already has me intrigued. I'm also a fan of the style they are going with, their sound continues to mature.
What do you think of the new song? I think it is the best of the 3 by far. I enjoy them all but this one BANGS
Another track dropped... My Blood All the songs are sounding pretty unique so far, but I expected nothing less from the band. This album is shaping up to be my favorite by them. Also, I'm not the only one getting like 80s vibes from this, right?
