I ordered mine ages ago, hoped it was coming today but.. no such luck. it better be here before the weekend..
hmm, i dont know when ill get a chance to get it...shops round here only ever get 1 or 2 copies a week in...ill try, how much is it now btw?
Fuck this. My copy still hasn't come, so i'm going to buy it today and sell my other copy off or something.
Kerrang's has gone soooooo emo these days! The only good metal bands i see in there are In Flames, Metallica and a few random bands.. As for the CD... it is good, but if course is not as good as Metallica's version.,, (I wonder why )
I was for the most part. Loved it all bar the last 2 songs.. there was something about Orion that did not seem right at all.. like each person was playing the same song just in a completely different tuning.. then again, i always though when i heard about this that without Cliff, you can't have Orion. and i still didn't like FFAF screaming Damage inc.. but.. all in all, it was worth the £2 i payed for it. and the issue i ordered has found a home already, even though i don't even have it yet I'm sendign it out to my friend in Estonia, because i'm kind like that.
Same here. As the guy on the radio said, It sounds so much like metallica you could hardly tell the difference. Matt Heafy pulled the vocals off really really well, and the guitars are spot on. i think the drums are a little bit better than before if anything.. more bass.
Good Lord. The FFAF and Bullet For My Valentine songs sound worse than fingernails on a chalkboard. Trivium pulled it off though. Side note: How the hell did my friend get this? We live in the states. I guess there's a number of different ways. Whatever.
expected much more..FFAF's song sucks bit time...The bands play their songs much much better than these...Trivium's song's the best of the album...but they can do better..Totally disappointed
I downloaded it because there's no other way for me to hear it. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy the entire album. Funeral for a Friend really surprised me with how well they pulled off "Damage, Inc." musically. The vocals ruined the song, though. Bullet for My Valentine's version of "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" wasn't that great, either. But overall, the CD was great.
Mendeed's vocalist on The Thing That Should Not Be is probably the most horrid thing to hit my ears in months. It sounds like my friend on those Branden's Band songs I recorded. and that's fucking horendous. I'm still on track 3, so according to Will, the worst is yet to come.
