Ok here are "samples" (I made them on the electric guitar ._.)

Ok, the first sample is Papercut distorted, and then played clean. The next is From The Inside distorted*, then clean**. The next is Points of Authority its first played with an effect called Flanger, then played with Chorus. Please don't be too harsh, as I know they're really bad .

I think From The Inside sounds better distorted.




For those of you that don't play guitar:

*Distortion is an effect to make the guitar sound, well, more distorted, crunchy, and often heavier. Linkin Park/Brad rarely don't use distortion.

**Clean is just the name that's used for a guitar being played without any effects at all.

I clipped myself singing "My December." I have no idea how I sound or anything...lol. I tried to keep the volume on the mp3 down as much as I could so you could hear me, but I also wanted it up loud enough so I could sing along the right way.

Let me know what you think.

The same thing happened with you: it’s late and I can’t sing full-out, plus it doesn’t help that my voice was cracking.

Also, we never said you didn’t make it. I don’t think Derek’s listened to your clip yet. I think you did pretty good...heh.

Will, you weren't bad. A B+ isn't a bad grade. Anywho, it's tough sustaining notes and that's why I think you did good except for the high note part because you were literally off-key on the last part of the word "clear" - it's off. But ya' did good.
