It seems the tracklist for Post Traumatic has been revealed via a social media post. Looks like Mike has sent out the tracklist in the mail to those who have supported him. The 16 track album has one instrumental track and features from blackbear, K.Flay, grandson, Chino Moreno of Deftones and Machine Gun Kelly on the same track. Especially if it's a concept album taking us through Shinodas grieving process, which from what we've seen in interviews it seems to be. Starts off in the darkest of places and guides us through it all.
I'm so excited for the album! But I'm also so conflicted. I really love the songs we heard so far, but I hate the reason why they even exist. I agree that some of the titles seem very dark, even after Crossing A Line. It was supposed to be more optimistic from there on, right? But then again, grief is no linear process. I.O.U. (= "I owe you"?) breaks my heart.
I'm interested to hear what the rest of the album sounds like but not a single one of the features intrigue me. MGK might be a good feature but there's definitely other rappers I would prefer. However, a lot of the songs titles themselves have me intrigued and it does seem like a very dark album. I know there will be a mix of Rap and Singing so I'm excited to see how much of each is present on the tracklist. If I had to guess Lift Off is another song similar to Good Goodbye or maybe even a more rap rock version of that style of song. Mike with a verse or two, MGK with a verse, Chino on the chorus. But knowing Mike I'm probably toally wrong By the way, does "feat. grandson" mean a family member or is their an artist under that name? If its not another artist I could see it being on of Chester's kids even if that wouldn't technically be Mike's grandson.
Boy, these titles are intriguing. This is gonna be big. Also, instrumental! YEAH! I wonder if there'll be some sweet transitions too?
I'm really excited!!! btw Grandson I just searched to see who that is and I really liked most of his songs and I dont usually listen to trap tracks but he does it very well! And this song "Bills" is the perfect Rock-Trap fusion This guy feat Mike could be something crazyyyy
Pretty dope shit. Kinda wish there wasn't an instrumental but still cool. Features are aight. Would prefer other rappers beyond MGK but I can't complain. Some of these titles sound raw. I.O.U sounds the most intriguing.
Brooding is right after About You, and with how abruptly awkward that ends, I'm sure they bleed right into eachother.
Just listened to this song and while it could be a bit better, its not bad. We shall see what comes of this feature.
Anyone know what kind of terms Mike and JayZ are on? That one radio interview, the host asked if Mike could text him right now, and he said no. I'm only asking because I thought they might have done a track together or something.
I don't think they ever remained in contact after the Collision Course/Fort Minor/Grammy era. I assume Jay still has respect for Mike and LP in general since he gave tribute to Chester and plays Numb/Encore regularly.
First of all. Wow this was unexpected! Does everyone get his letter with the tracklist who pre ordered? As I look through the whole set and Songs we didnt heard yet. As you guys said before, the whole album seems to be very dark. I wasnt expecting this either! Most curious, unrealeased songs from title for me: 10. Ghosts (just interesting choose ) 12. Lift Off (feat. Chino Moreno & Machine Gun Kelly) (Chino & MGK did this happen before?!) 13. I.O.U. ( "I owe you" wow, that seems to be a really deep song, if its about what Im thinking) 14. Running From My Shadow (feat. grandson) (Whos that grandson from ?!) 16. Can't Hear You Now (Well, its the last track from a long and personal album. It must be something special, right?) You see almost any! THROW THAT ALBUM AT ME NOW!
I had a feeling Chino Moreno and MGK might be featured on the album, didn't know it would be on the same track! Looking forward to that one. All of the titles sound interesting too. I can't believe this is already just barely over a month from releasing.
