I think it's quite sad that I don't want to start FireRed over because I've got a shiny Koffing. It's a Koffing, for crying out loud. USELESS!

Now, if I had a shiny Magikarp...

 

I remember I had a Red Gyrados, I think that makes it red right? Shiny just means another color.

 

Yes. But I'm assuming you caught it in Gold or Silver. That's the only Pokémon in any game that's going to be shiny without fail. Otherwise, you have about a 1-in-8,000 chance of even seeing a shiny Pokémon, which is nuts.

That's why I'm so reluctant to throw away my shiny Koffing, even if it is useless. It's the only shiny Pokémon (other than the red Gyarados) that I've ever come across legitimately.

 

Hmm, I don't know. It's been so long.

I remember I asked my grandma to buy me Pokemon Yellow and Red online when I was a little kid, she was the best, got me crap like that all the time.

I also found a German Silver version once and got that, but in total all the Pokemon games I've ever owned are.

Red
Silver (English and German)
Gold
Crystal
Ruby
Saphire
Leaf Green.

 

I've owend Blue, Gold, Sapphire, and FireRed. I lost both my copies of Blue and my copy of Gold, so I bought Gold and Silver off eBay, but Silver's battery is dead. And I'm borrowing Red and Diamond from friends.

I "accidentally" yelled that at someone while playing WoW a few days ago and me and my friend have come to the conclusion of that being the best nerd "insult" ever.

Just because it seems like so many PC gamers fucking love Hot Pockets.
