Haha, I agree. The other track names sound decent. I prefer the ATS tracklist over this one. I'm still going to be very openminded about this new album and hopefully it will beat ATS and become my favourite LP album.
It'll be very hard to top ATS in my mind. I'm not scared in the slightest though. It seems that, despite going back to the 12 game, the band still isn't afraid to do whatever the hell they want to do. With ATS, it worked out because what they wanted to do and make fit in perfectly with what most of us were hoping for with the band. This time around, it doesn't seem to match up. Will this be better than ATS? Probably not. But I can't hate on the band for making what they want to make.
When we find out it isn't, may I travel to the Indian Ocean and openly mock you or do I have to do so discreetly? Also, may I write a review about it for your website or must I just write a song as I am prone to doing at times?
I mean, to their credit, they always did excel at short, powerful bursts of music, just because they're not exactly focused on 6 minute techno pseudo-pop ballads isn't exactly making me nervous, I just hope they keep enough "weird" around to make it worthwhile. Breaking The Habit seemed almost tailored to be radio hit, but they pulled it off in a way that made it believable and awesome. Hopefully they're revisited whatever mindset they had when they did that and are laying off the LOATR/SotD/Iridescent Coldplay/U2 tributes that haven't exactly done them well.
I'm not a keyboard warrior, I'm just a bored fucker with an office job that is amused by people who continue to take him seriously. Also the ones that have the best reactions.
