Maybe they'll manage to make him likeable even with censoring the curses. I sure hope so. He shouldn't turn out as anything close to the Governor.
It's the Dark Knight effect, again. "But he needs to be emotionally deep and have almost sympathetic motivations!" Fuck that for the Governor, and even more so for Negan. And, as expected, shit will the fan. Ah. Bi-weekly releases!
Awesome. October's gonna be good! New episodes every week and new issues every two weeks! Not to mention, Season Two of the game to play! Anyway, on Issue #112, four words: Lucille, give me strength. Oh, and, by the way, it only just now hit me how short these issues actually are, because it's the first time I had to wait for some time to read one.
I'm in the middle of Compendium 2. That ends on issue #96, so i'm not sure what i'm on right now. By the time i'm finished i'll get volumes 17-19, and i should be up to date-ish. I wonder how they're going to portay Abraham in the TV Show. That guy is a dick, but I like him. And Euguene? What a worthless cunt.
He has a dickish personality, but I like him. He's a good character. And yes, Euguene IS a worthless cunt. He's a liar, has no character development, and he's just not a good character. He also does fuck all for the group.
^I don't know if you've come to the part when he starts doing something really useful. Two days till the release of the official season 4 trailer!
I guess they're taking more cues from the comics.
Just finished volume 18 of the comic. That and 17 were the most brutal i've read out of all of them. Fuck, I love Negan. What a great character! He's so.. disturbing.. but so loveable. It's nice how they wrapped things up for Maggie and Sophia, but I felt sorry for Carl. He has no kids to talk to now.. not that he acts like a kid, anyway. These 2 volumes were fucking epic, I must say. I gotta wait till (December, is it?) until I can get up to date again.. I don't buy the single issues so i'm waiting for volume 19. I still have The Rise Of The Governor and The Road To Woodbury, which I haven't read yet to keep me occupied, so that's good.
If you buy don't buy the single issues and you buy the volumes, I woudn't feel too bad about downloading separate issues and then buying the volumes later and reading them in one sitting.
Found out you can buy the single issues on the Forbidden Planet website. Bought 109-112 in the shop today (was up Central London) and just pre-ordered 113 for £1.95 on the site. Good value if you ask me, I like to have actual copies instead of downloading them.
