@Tehcrusha: *chucks dog crap at you* You know what I ment! >_<

@maverik68: Maybe you heard me trip in your closet..

@OMFG HIRO: oo; Wow, at least it wasn't a night terror. I always fall asleep during English. XD Mrs. Perrigo can't teach me anything because I already know puncuation, grammar (not a word Crusha), most spelling, all that (or at least enough to pass a "really hard test" and seem smart). Besides, all we do is sometimes take notes, always DOL, and rarely a work sheet, so I can do what I wish to really.

That must have sucked, there have been periods where I'd fall asleep in practically every class but I've never had paralysis then. :p

Yeah, it REALLY sucked. Pretty embarrassing really to have people shuffle out of the classroom while you're at your desk like.. twitching in your sleep.

The hallucinations are the worst part of sleep paralysis. Once it appeared as if there was some guy in the corner of my room just staring at me while I was pinned down.

    Freaked me out something else.

I've had quite a few creepy experiences before. Here are a few (*=represents how scared I was at the time out of 5):

    i) When I was around 9 I went to this after school club at my school because there was no one to pick me up from school until my mum got off work at 5. It'd take her around an hour and a half in her car to travel across London to pick me up from this after school place so usually I'd be there from 3:30 when school got off til around 6:30 and sometimes even up til 7-8 depending on traffic. The after school club was located within the premises of my school. The school itself was built in early victorian times and had a really creepy feel to it at night. The school actually burnt down in the 1850s which took the lives of several children and school staff (a real horror movie feat eh?) and ever since the school was reconstructed there has been a memorial wall on the main corridor of those who lost their lives in the fire. Another thing I noticed about it was that even in summer, it was always so damn cold in and around the school.

Anyhoo enough of the descritions of the place. This one mid-november evening me and some friends were playing football in the bottom playground which the after school club had access to after everyone had left. As the hours past each kid was being picked up by their parents until eventually it was just me and my friend Ben. It started getting a bit boring it being just the two of us and it was really dark out at that point so we decided to quit football and go back inside the centre. Lucky us, we got to gather up all the footballs, skipping ropes etc. that people left behind and put them into crates to take back to the centre.

There were 3 crates for us to fill up with stuff and at the time we could only handle one each so we both took one each up the ramp, round the corner and back to the centre and left the other down in the playground for one of us to go and get. Lucky me, I got to go. I went back round the corner and down the ramp to collect the crate and as I was picking the crate up I noticed that there was an old, white-bearded, suited man wearing a fucking top hat standing in between two trees on the far side of the playground. Now keep in mind that he wasn't there just a few minutes before and at this time of the evening the school is on like a lockdown. The gates are sealed, all entrances into the main building are locked and the only way of getting in and out is through a side entrance located at the after school centre and we would certainly have noticed someone so distinguishable if he had walked past us.

Now I was pretty damn confused so I quickly got the crate and paced it up the ramp and back into the after school centre and told one of the supervisors that there's an old dude in the bottom playground. All the staff and my friend Ben came back with me when I show them and this is when I went petrified because when I went back to show them there was abolsutely no one there at all. The staff went down and did a thorough check of the area (there were rumours of a man who would follow children around in the area at that time so the staff had to be sure). They found nothing and no one. Now I know what I saw, I have a clear memory of what I saw to this day. This was only the tip of the iceburg though.

A few days later, still rather shaken up by the events of a few days prior, I was walking down the main corridor to class when I noticed something on the memorial wall which still gives me shivers to this day; on the left side of the corridor there was a photograph titled 'William Dermot - Headmaster 1849-1854' and behold the person smiling in the photograph was an old-looking, white-bearded man wearing a top hat - the very same person I saw a few days prior. I am convinced to this day that I saw the ghost of William Dermot on that evening and I never went down to that playground after sunset again. *****

ii) Around 5 years ago I had a really screwed up dream. I dreamt that myself and all members of my family were in a race to the top of a hill and the person who finished last would die. The hill was more like a small mountain because I can vaguely remember there being like villages along the way, strangely enough it seemed like we were in a far eastern country like china because I distincly remember all the people we saw along the way were of far eastern ethnicity. The dream wasn't actually that bad in that there was no horrific elements or anything like that, just simply the last person to cross the finish line would die. The race finished with my cousin David finishing last and suddenly there was a huge crashing sound and then a sound of a car speeding away. It was so lifelike that it woke me up. I looked outside my window to see if there actually was a crash outside but there was nothing. 2 weeks later I'm informed that my cousin David, while on Holiday in Thailand, was killed. It was a hit and run incident. *****

iii) On an evening a few years ago me and my Mum were driving a few family friends back to their home from my Grandad's birthday celebration party. To get to their home you have to drive in between the two sections of one of the most famous graveyards in the world - Highgate Cemetary. Now this place is just fucking horrible when you're driving past it because the road isn't busy at all, it's almost like a country lane except instead of nice scenary you're surrounded by headstones and memorials, some various centuries old. Anyhoo we dropped them off and headed back home. As we were driving we noticed that there was a car tailgating us to a less than flattering point. My mum told me to keep an eye from the wing-mirror to see how close this bastard was getting to us while she contiued driving. I took my eye off the car behind us for no more than a few seconds and I was puzzled to find when I fixed my eyes back on the wing-mirror the car had gone! Now keep in mind there are no side roads along this lane and it would be impossible for any car to overtake another because of the lane being very narrow. My Mum looked at the wing-mirror on her side and said ''where the fuck did it go?'' and I replied in truly wimpish style ''I have no idea''. My Mum even stopped the car, not taking into the regard that if the car was still tailing us then it would certainly crash into us. There was no car though. Me and my Mum looked at each other and I just said ''lets get the hell out of here'' and off we went. ***

(more to follow at a later date)

Wow, Luke those are some of the weirdest things I've heard happen to a real person.

I've heard stories about electrical machines coming to life without being plugged in and stuff, which is pretty impossible but I believe the person who told me.

I'm trying to think of stuff that has happened to me, but I've just had some weird nightmares.

I do remember my sister being like Marj explained during a couple nights, which was pretty creepy.
She looked like she was awake, but she stared right through you. Pointing at something and screaming like she was being murdered or something.

when i was a lot younger i did my fair share of sleep walking.. i ended up down stairs once, while my parents where still up. i walked into the kitchen and thought at the time it was a good idea to 'wee' (uranate, whatever) in the cutlery draw. thankfully my mam stepped in just in time to save the day

not very creepy.. just strange lol

    1) When i was 14 i used to be a cleaner at my school at the end of the day. I used to have to clean the two gyms and two halls with one of my friends. My school was built in 1939 and so has air raid shelters built in underneath the school playing fields, the entrances to which are located under the stages in the two halls.

Now the door leading udner the stage was normally located but being a cleaner i had the key so we decided to have a look. So i put my broom at arms length leaning against the stage to unlock the door, as we opened it a cold air shot passed which made are skin crawl but we just dismissed it.

Looking under the stage we saw the entrance but didnt bother going in because of stuff in the way, so we closed the door. I reached out for my broom and it was gone. My friend freak out and made up an excuse to leave me alone in the hall looking for my broom. It turns out the broom had been put at the back of the hall which was a good 200 yards away. This freaked me right out and i stood in the corridor until my friend had the courage to come back.

Speaking to people afterwards and nobody moved it beacuse the hall has one entry at that time of night and we would have heard people come in. The worst of it was that a week later in the same hall we had just finished puting the chairs out for the assembly in the morning and moved onto the next hall locking the door, when we came back past to finish hall the chairs had be stacked in the centre of the hall in a really weird way, the door was still locked and nobody else was in that side of the school.

    2) Nobody would walk along the top corridor of that school after night fell, even the caretaker refused to go up there. Being a school there was all sorts of stories but it was always cold and the teachers used to talk about a little girl in victorian dress that was reported playing in the classrooms at night but i never saw her. I went up to the top corridor once after night before i heard the stories and it just had a wrong feeling thats all i can say, it just felt so wrong that i ran from one end to the other.

For the past two years I've constantly been seeing 11:11 on clocks, timers, radios, whatever, you name it; all the time. I catch it atleast once a day. Pretty strange, and then I decided to google it one day, and wow, there's a whole phenomenon on it? Anywho, after this long I'm convinced that it's more than just pure coincidence. My explanation is that maybe that this has just become some kind of a routine for me without my control.

That's very possible. Improbable, yet possible :)

I've had weird dreams that have carried on over a few nights and each night I've proceeded further and further with the dream. It was odd.

    *totally forgot about this thread*

12 going on 13. I didn't see anything about age while registering, and I still don't.

Some kid feel asleep during math and couldn't get up due to sleep paralysis. I couldn't help but snicker, and half the class was laughing while our teacher threatened to send him to the Dean's office.

I probably would have screamed in horror.

Well, those were certainly interestingly creepy.

    Ooh, do tell.

I know someone who does that all the time, 'cept just to me.

    My English teacher on Mondays.

Whoa, sounds like he needs a cat.

You'd think by now I'd know not to eat while looking at these forums.. But anyways, yeah, WEIRD!

Strange. Everyone at my school says the cafeteria is haunted, yet nothing's happened.

I now fear the 11:11 thing.

Aye. Just sounds like faulty wiring/programming to me.

I think that happens to everyone at one time or another, but I had one once, but it was about massecring leprechauns...

I've had the sleep paralysis thing happen to me a few times. I also remember walking to school one day and this random old dude in an army uniform started taking pictures of me on his camera, fucking scared the shit out of me so i ran and started taking the long way to school after that.
Also once on my way to a recreational center i got stopped by this guy who was probably in his mid 30s to 40s, he wanted to talk to me about poetry and was complaining how the wind was making him cry, the whole time i just wanted to say leave me the fuck alone who are you? Then he asks for my number so I gave him my friends, lol my friend got a few strange calls afterwards

Stituation #2: Whoa, talk about rude and creepy!
About the phone number:  Did your friend ever figure out that it was you that gave that creep his/her number?
